These are strong and functional. The screws supplied fit the holes perfectly and the brackets are easy to install. The screwheads do indeed fit through the holes so that the screws can be installed in the wall first, and then the bracket can be slipped onto the screws. There are 9 narrower slots and 10 wider slots, alternating. My only complaint is that the slots are wider in front and narrower in back. It would be better if they were the same width the whole way. As it is, smaller cables drop out if they slide up to the wider section of the slot. Some narrow cables (ones with thin USB-C connectors for instance) aren't held reliably due to this flaw.

Great little hanger. Comes with wall anchors that are pretty cheap, luckily I had some other hardware on hand that was better.

These work great for hanging audio cables. But, unless the hanger can be mounted high enough so that the cables can hang free, it will still eventually become a rats nest. Great hanger, just think about how you’ll use it.

Great potential, but falls short when actually using for common cables like USB. If you have larger cable ends, maybe like RJ-45 network cables, this would probably work well. But my slender USB cables often fall through, when I'm trying to grab nearby cables - annoying.

I have a lot of cables and this helps organize them greatly
