TIGER Junior Kids Drum Kit, 3 Piece Beginners Drum Set with Stool - Red

My two-year-old daughter wouldn't leave my drums alone and, as much as I loved seeing her sitting behind my kit drumming away, I thought it would be a good idea to get her one which was more suited to her diminutive size. Didn't really like any of the 'toy' kits we'd seen listed on various sites, so when I saw this Tiger kit and how it resembled a genuine acoustic kit rather than plastic toys with garish colours, I immediately decided to buy it. She got it for Christmas 2014, when she was 22 months old, and plays on it every day. She can't quite reach the bass pedal, even with the stool on the lowest possible setting, but she loves it just the same. The quality was much better than expected, and it was very easy to put together and didn't need instructions, even though they appeared to be clear and concise. It's a shame that there's no snare, but it's probably down to kids being too small to easily reach the drums and a snare would put them further away from the kit. I'm happy with it; she's happy with it; our eardrums can attest to the fact that they are certainly loud enough that they can't be mistaken for a cheap toy. Overall very pleased and would definitely buy another set of Tiger drums if these ones end up being destroyed over time.

This was bought as a joint Christmas present for a nearly-2-yr-old and a nearly-5-yr-old and, excusing the pun, was a massive hit with both of them. Although there are no assembly instructions included, just Google "Tiger JDS7 Assembly" and they're instantly at your finger tips. This is a really solid piece of kit, again excusing the pun, and the amount of punishment it has already taken... I'm really impressed that the skins haven't already given up the ghost. I knew a plastic type toy wouldn't fit the bill and it really would have long since died a death by now. By paying that little bit more - and I believe for the quality and resilience this has already shown that it's really worth the price - they have a really nice and solid miniature that's going to last (not to mention that the sound of a real miniature drum kit is far more tolerable than some of the weird little pops and bangs that come out of a toy!) They love it, I love it, even their parents love it - I have a sneaking suspicion their daddy might even have been enjoying "helping them learn to play it" by "just showing them how" a bit himself!!

Sound good, look good, real drums (which daddy may borrow for some recording) One tiny problem that stops a five star review is that the bass pedal seems a bit temperamental and flimsy and has needed adjusting a few times, other than that...wonderful!

Marvelous drum-kit for my 3-year-old's birthday. He's showing signs of becoming a John Bonham! Very well made; robust and nice resonance. Comes well-packaged, but no construction notes, so took me a few hours to put together properly(but I am SLOW). Has a nice comfy stool, which doesn't adjust, should be right for 4-6 years old. Overall great piece of kit and very good value for money (my wife said,"oh my god, HOW MUCH have you spent?" and I wasn't scared at all!)

Amazing service. Estimated delivery was going to be after my sons birthday - a late birthday request! I emailed the seller who arranged dispatch ASAP so it arrived in time! Husband found it really easy to put together and sturdy once built. It will be perfect for our soon to be 4 year old and I imagine his 7 year old brother will get plenty of use too. Beautiful bright blue colour. Not as bulky as I expected which is great so doesn’t take up as much room but a perfect size for the kids

Falls apart AVOID

Christmas present for a 5 year old who absolutely loved them. They're the small person's equivalent of a professional drum kit - they look the part, they've got everything you need, (they're loud) and, for three drums and a cymbal, they're really not that expensive when compared to the plastic toy fake drums out there. Note that the kit only comes partly assembled - you have to fit some of the skins to the drums first, so allow some time.

I bought this product for my Granddaughter's 4th birthday. I do not know if it was easy to assemble as her Daddy constructed this item. It does seem sturdy enough and she has good fun playing it. My granddaughter is a rough child so it would have to be well made to withstand this. The item looks good and is a pretty colour for a little girl. I am pleased with this product and think it is a good price for the quality.
