Tamiya Lockheed Martin F-16CJ Blk 50 1/32 Jet

This is a museum quality model kit. It contains a lot of parts. I would recommend following the instructions as they are laid out by Tamiya. There are a lot of part that need to be painted. That's the most difficult part of the assembly process. Having to wait for the paint to dry. No worries. This is model building. Once complete you will be amazed at the finished product.

Amazing kit, and what an equally amazing price. I have searched for this, and I see it sold for over $200 regularly. I jumped at this when I saw it, and prime shipping too!!!! The model is a huge 1:32 scale, and Tamiya has thought of everything. Metal landing gear, real rubber tires, engine slides in/out, so many options that can be changed even after the model is finished. This is truly one of Tamiya’s premier model kits. The paint callout list is long and extensive but experienced modelers should be able to mix to match reference material. Advice: read ALL of the instruction manual and follow the advice if you are not already at least an intermediate level modeler. Yes, wash the parts. Yes, have your own reference material and photos. Buy a book maybe, learn something. Translate your unique understanding of the material into a model that is your own, and not a copy of someone else’s work. Happy building.

Tamiya has some of the best kits out there. You can find good deals if you look around, The kit one the best to work on, parts fit together well and no issues with fit.

Rock solid kit, but the decals are total junk. Surface prep with alcohol did nothing to improve adhesion. Had similar issues with my F18 build last winter. 1/32 scale, so not dealing with micro sized decals.

This model kit by Tamiya of the F-16CJ Blk 50 in 1/32 scale is not really worth the high price. It does have some nice features like metal landing gear but that's about it. The rest of the kit is made up of a lot of gimmicky parts that you are supposed to be able to remove, and put back on. Things like the tail, the external fuel tank, bombs, missles etc. But all those features get in the way of the plastic parts fitting together seamlessly or nice and tight. I wanted a large scale Tamiya kit of the F-16 because other Tamiya kits I have built were awesome, including the 1/48 scale F-16 I built from them...this one isn't that great. I'm sorry I ever spent the 150 bucks on this kit. Live and learn I guess.

Well made and laid out! Instructions are very detailed with an extra box with all landing gear and tires, canopy etc. Fun kit.

A somewhat difficult assembly with screws that were required in certain areas, didn’t like that part at all, some screws weren’t long enough to do a proper assemble. Had to use some of my screws I had at my garage.

My complaints are far and few between, the model really impresses with its size and great detail. Coming back to modelling after a long pause I decided to challenge myself with this beauty. Speaking as I had only done 1:72 jets at a much lower price point before I am unsure if the the slight fitting inaccuracies when putting the main fuselage parts together were down to user error or production faults. Nonetheless the parts were much better fitting than any model I had ever done before. I can recommend it for anyone looking to challenge themselves. Patience and quite a bit of modelling kit (airbrush, thinners, wide range of paints) are a prerequisite for it.

タミヤ1/32スケールf-16cj block50が2005年に発売されてから今日までこの製品を超えるキットは登場していない。f-16プラモの決定版とも言うべき製品です。まず最初に感じたことは、パーツのすべての精度が高いのと各種モールドが秀逸、機体プロポーションが非常に良いことだ。又組みやすさも特徴の一つです。このメーカーおなじみのボルト止め、ポリキャップ止めが随所にとられているし、機首にしこむバラストまでついている。 インストには不要部品としてあるが、機首上部の4つのコブ（AIFF装備）の部品（bパーツ17)を使い f-16cdにするのもいいかもしれません。 そして兵装ステーションは充実しており、7種類のウエポン、ドロップタンク,ECM pod, 機首のAN/ASQ-213、などがあり、あと精密なエンジン＆ドーリーも魅力のひとつです。ですからプラモ作りの楽しさを十分満喫できるでしょう。とにかくこのキットはプラモ初心者からベテランモデラーまで納得の素晴らしい製品だと思います。f-16ファン､航空ファン、またなによりもプラモ好きな方にぜひおすすめします。
