I bought this rack for smoking in my Ninja Woodfire XL Pro Connect Smoker/Grill, and it fits perfectly. Having learned about direct and indirect heating on this smoker/grill, I learned that smoking is best done with indirect heating. Since smoking takes a longer period of time, it's best to not put foods directly on the grill since this can burn or over cook the bottom of the food. This rack holds the food above the grill so it doesn't burn and also allows allows the heat and smoke to surround the food evenly. This rack also works great for roasting and baking or for any cooking that you don't want the food or pan directly on the grill. It is strong enough to hold heavy roasts, but also works well for smaller foods you want to smoke such as sausages, hot dots, burger, fish, and so much more. For me, this rack has become a very useful and versatile accessory. I have also found that this rack is easy to clean. Warm soap and water and a dish rag or sponge is all it needs for cleaning. UPDATE 09/02/24: Today I smoked a Boston cut pork butt roast in the Ninja Woodfire grill and used this rack to keep the roast elevated over the grill. It took 4 1/2 hours at 425 degrees for a 3 lb. roast to reach 190 degrees. This rack worked like a champ. The bottom of the roast was not at all burned, and the roast had a nice bark, top and bottom. I used hickory for the smoke, and the flavor was wonderful. Leftovers from the roast were shredded and frozen for a future meal of BBQed shredded pork sandwiches. After the cook, this rack had some crusted particles of the roast and some smoke color, but it was so easy to clean in warm soapy water using only a vegetable brush to clean it. Whether you use this rack or one you have, a rack should be used to keep food above the grill for longer smokes. What's nice about this rack is that it fits the grill size. The handles on this rack make it so easy to move food after cooking to a cutting board and bring it into the house. In addition, I have found this rack is also very useful as a baking rack to cool baked bread or other baked items. So many items are sold to be used for specific purposes when they can also be used for multiple other purposes. Having a rack like this can help to eliminate the need for other racks that require additional storage space. I hope this review was helpful for you.

My husband enjoys cooking and this rack was exactly what he needed to add to his kitchen collection. It's the right size and is very sturdy. It also sits well on hard surfaces and is easy to clean. There was no problem with assembling the item as it is very lightweight. We should have bought another one.

When you smoke meat (or food in general, really) you want smoke on ALL sides of the food item. Therefore, some sort of rack like this to elevate the food is crucial for an optimal end product. This one, made by Ninja (vs just some generic rack) FOR the Woodfire XL (pro and connect models) products, fits into grooves on the stock grill grate, and makes optimal use of the available space in the cooker. Also handy for other cook modes, such as baking, dehydrating, and air frying, where you want air to circulate completely around the food.

If you’re smoking on ninja wood fire grill, you should get this. Allows air/smoke 360 hug of you meats. Durable quality build. Cleans up easily. I put in dishwasher and zero signs of rust after several uses. It’s like new.

Great rack for the Ninja grill. Correct size and allows for full smoking converage. Cleaning is usual for a grid rack. Depending upon food, some sticks more than others and usual cleaning techniques are successful.

Received the rack yesterday. Fits grill very nicely, seems sturdy and appears of good quality and build. I haven't used it yet, which is why I only gave it 4 stars, but I seen no reason why it shouldn't do exactly what it's supposed to do which is keep the item you're cooking up off the grill plate so heat and smoke can circulate completely around the food item. I like how the "feet" of this grill securely lock onto the raised pattern on the grill plate keep the rack very securely placed on the grill.

This was an important add-on to my Ninja grill. It sits above the grill so that grease from the meat drops down onto the hot grill, creating smoke that adds that grill flavor. I tried the basket that comes with the grill. It works the same with the grease smoke, but leaves those small diamond patterns on the meat, and it's pretty difficult to clean.

First of all, it's a Ninja. Have always had good luck with their products. Secondly, having used it now multiple times to smoke, grill, roast and air fry, it's given great results. Smoked briskets, whole chickens, pork loins, chuck roasts, etc. ProConnect offers Bluetooth and Wi-Fi comms. Two temperature probes offer two different locations in larger cuts of meat or two different proteins at the same time. Very pleased with this product.
