Excellent for Minipainting
A genuinely fantastic brush. I use it for miniature painting and it's lovely, stays in shape and keeps a nice point. Would buy a whole set but they're £20 each.

Best miniature brush I’ve used
Painted a 40K space marine venerable dreadnought with this brush.. base, shade, blending, fine detail and edge highlights all done with the same brush. Amazing, highly recommend

Bloody stickers!!!!!!
Spend near £15 quid on a paint brush, you don't expect them to turn up and have really gluey stickers on the end, take the sticker off and it leaves behind most of the glue, the brushes have literally stuck together after they rolled on my kitchen worktop and stuck themselves together. At least use low tack, easy to remove labels! The worst thing is they come in a little plastic bag... Why not put the sticker on that instead!? Now I have to spend ages cleaning the glue off the brushes; thanks Amazon :-(

Wow! This brush is amazing
This brush has been taken for a test drive today and all I can say is this is the best brush I’ve used and I’ve been painted warhammer for about 6 years

Used for miniatures.
Fantastic brush. Realising how much better a good quality No.2 is compared to a poor quality finer detail brush!

The Best
I’ve never used brushes that are this good. This size is great for base coats and layering on lager areas although the tip is sharp enough to be detailed where needed. Can’t recommend more highly

Loses shape almost immediately but noe great
1st time I tried to use it I dipped it into paint & the bristles seemed to have a life of their own....all splayed out. Tried reshaping it to no avail. Now use it as a general mixing brush. Very disappointed. Having now used it for several months, and now staying in shape, it's my go-to brush: holds a fair amount of paint and is a pleasure to use.

I've ordered through Amazon three Raphael Kolinsky Sable size 2 round brushes, and only one was acceptable. Two of them did not come to a point. One of them did. The only other good brush I have in this size is a Windsor & Newton Series 7 no. 2 round brush that I purchased in person at an art supply store. If you wet one of these Kollinsky brushes and tap the end of the brush near the ferrule, the tip should come to a point. If it doesn't, the brush won't create a single consistent line. That doesn't mean the brush isn't useful, but it's no longer suitable as a liner. Because it isn't possible to conduct this test sight unseen when ordering online, it's better to order three at a time. A good Raphael Kolinsky Sable size 2 round brush, which I have seen at the Art Students League, has a fat belly and a narrow point. I've seen them used to meticulously ink carefully penciled comic art pages. It's not the least bit surprising that some professional comic art inkers prefer the Raphael Kolinski Sable size 2 round to the Windsor & Newton Series 7 no. 2 round brush. After a certain amount of practice it becomes evident that brushes provide physical feedback that you won't get from a brush pen. Learning to sense the feedback from the brush helps to control the line. The Raphael Kolinsky Sable size 2 round is still my favorite brush for comic book inking, but after learning that I ought to pay close attention to the feedback from the brush, I now find that the Windsor and Newton Series 7 no 2 round is more or less equal.
