Over the years I have tried probably all major brands of chocolates, and these are hands down the best. I love the variety and the fresh flavors. Can't ever have too much!

I HAVE LOVED THESE CHOCOLATES FOR YEARS
I first discovered See's candies when I received a box as a gift, from a man who resided in San Francisco and often visited Canada. Eventually I ordered the chocolates by mail for myself and family members around Christmas time. I placed this recent order in November and was not able to track the order, there was no information. I finally phoned DHL this week and the order was received the next day. The envelope had a sticker on it which read SECURITY CHECKED. These chocolates come in a white box, wrapped in a white waxy paper with the company sticker on it. That was ripped off the box and a piece of it with DHL REWRAPPED tape was stuck on it. Obviously he box was not rewrapped. Worse, the chocolates inside had been moved around and bits of the nut toppings and bits of chocolate was stuck on the top and the sides of the white box. This particular item has two layers of chocolates, so the second layer must also have been examined. My question is - Was this person wearing gloves? I also hope that this person was not sick. The entire handling of these chocolates is pretty disgusting and totally the fault of DHL. I phoned them today and they are investigating. See's Candies is an amazing company and I have never had a problem with any orders they shipped to me at work in the past. it is DHL who is at fault here for damaging this order.
