Zatarain's Prepared Horseradish, 5.25 oz

If you use very large amounts of horseradish then this bottle is not for you. It only is a couple ounces of course radish for me which is good I only have shrimp from time to time and like to make my own cocktail sauce fresh with my own catchup and ingredients. Or if I’m going to have beef sandwiches it gives me enough to put on there without opening a gallon bucket and having to keep it in the refrigerator. This bottle is very small and compact and hides easy on your refrigerator door for use plus you will use it quicker so order two or three bottles so you can always have a back up available start each bottle will stay fresh. I find if I buy a large quantity of something that I only use in frequently by the time I go to use it all the flavor seems to have escaped. This has an excellent taste I was very satisfied with it and think you will also enjoy it plus the ease of use. I hope this review helped years but I would definitely buy this again

Since my trip to New Orleans back in 1991, I realized how great of products Zatarains makes. This horseradish has a true taste and mixes well for making a shrimp cocktail sauce. Obviously works well in recipes calling for horseradish and is a great condament for sandwiches, etc. to spice it up.

I get that the size of the jar is posted, but I had no idea 5.25 Oz was so dang small! It looks like a jar of baby food. It tastes OK, the consistency is thick like paste, but a little it on the runny side. (like baby food also). It tastes like horseradish. Not too strong or 'spicy', pretty mild flavor compared to others I have tried. No, I would not buy this again.

I bought one, seal was broken, leaked. Bought another again it arrived with broken seal. I know it is not an expensive item, but not being able to get a refund is wrong. I won't buy again

This is true horseradish - no mayo fillers, no extras. The flavor is fresh and balanced. Perfect on fish, roast beef dips, turkey wraps - everything! This is the family favorite, but hard to locate in our area. So happy to find it readily available on Amazon.

The jar didn't have a seal on it and looked like it was previously open. It says on the jar that you supposed to refrigerate after opening, so no saying how long this jar has been sitting open. Needless to say I won't be tasking it, so can't say anything about the taste. Also looked like 1/4 of the product was missing/leaked out. The product itself is etremely liquid, like water. The item is not eligible for return. Waste of money

Easy to use paste type form mixes well into other ingredients if making a sauce or dressing, just the right amount of heat!
