this is a cracking system, easy to install and works really well, it is literally plug and play the hardest part is running the cables, the only negative part is the cables are wound to small a coil making them a pain to unwind but i cannot mark them down for this as it is an excellent product .

Edit: I had to come back and correct what I said after using it for a few months. I was able to turn off the night vision black and white and keep a low level normal vision. The user interface is not very friendly and so options you'd hope were a simple button press have to be arranged using less than obvious means. To do that you go to Main Menu / Alarm / Siren Light Alarm select ALL channels and press Enable. Then go to Night vision Mode and select colour. APPLY. Then go back to Enable and turn it off. APPLY. that's it. After a few months and learning the little workarounds - I absolutely love this system. ---- This CCTV package is excellent - but not perfect. There are some big issues that I have discovered only after installation. The DVR itself is easy to use and, being "plug and play", it doesn't take much to get it going. Put the cables in and you're off to the races. By far, the hardest thing about installing CCTV isn't the box its the cameras. Its entirely up to you how to you do it - but chances are, unless you live in a single room, you're going to need much longer ethernet cables. I have a small one bed bungalow and it barely was long enough - it was enough though. Invest in longer ethernet cables if you have a big place. The Operating System isn't very sophisticated. It does its job but is prone to freezing when left viewing one feed for example. After you've set it up the way you want, it can sometimes forget the settings you put on and so you have to keep an eye on that. However, the biggest issue I have is the Infrared switching from day to night. [See edit at start] My place is very well lit and so a camera can see more when left with low-light colour settings than anything a IR camera can see. *THERE IS NOW WAY OF TURNING THIS OFF* As soon as the camera decides it dark, it turns on the IR. This is a disaster if you're using these through a window. I checked online and there is now way to turn this off. Very disappointing. All that said, I like the cameras and system and - for the price - its an excellent way to protect yourself

Whatever happened to plug and play? Firstly this uses different connectors to standard so if you already have cameras from an existing system they won’t work. Secondly after setup it is difficult to figure out how to do play back. I could see an image on each camera so they were working. Go to playback and nothing is there. So I tried changing from 24 hour recording to motion detection recording. Still nothing. The only way I could get it to record was to manually turn the recording on/off each time. What is the point in that? You never know before hand when you are going to need it. I think the system works ok but poor design in the app makes it unusable.

I recently purchased this product and have been using it for about 2/3 months. Overall, I've found it to be a good quality and value. However, I did encounter a minor issue in 1 camera but Liana from customer support quickly resolved this issue promptly. Not a bad thing to say about product or company thanks.

ZOSI 8CH 5MP PoE CCTV Camera System, 2.5K 8 Channel H.265+ PoE NVR and 4X 4MP Outdoor PoE Security This is a good system with a lot of potential but lacking more functionality and consistency. Installation is pretty straight forward enough, plug and play really. I started having issues the moment I connected the system to the Internet as I wanted to view the cameras remotely on my phone. The system would freeze at least once or twice a day and the only way of fixing it was to power the system off and then on again but after a few hours it would just freeze again. Obviously it was quite annoying as it's a cctv it should just stay on 24/7 So i got in contact with support via WhatsApp and explain the situation, I tried a lot of different methods none of which fixed the issue. In the end I requested for a firmware update which after installation seems to have done the job and fixed the issue. Unfortunately the only way to get this update is through their support team as I couldn't find this online and the system wouldn't pick it up if try to update through settings. So far it's running ok, hope it stays running.
