Very sturdy, even under the weight of a tablet. Joints are tight and little to no flex. Looks great as well. Time will tell how it holds up to use in the kitchen during food planning and prep.

This stand is so stable! The installation process is also very simple. You just need to turn the knob at the bottom to install it easily. However, it has certain requirements for the thickness of the table. Once it is installed, you can easily watch my iPad! You can also adjust it at multiple angles. I just need to lie on the sofa. This arm mount is very sturdy and easy to adjust. It perfectly holds my 15.6-inch portable monitor without any wobbling or sagging. The clamp grips the desk tightly, and the rotation makes it super convenient for work and watching videos. Great build quality and value!

I have used this with my phone and tablet (NOT simultaneously). The mounting hardware is very easy to use and the clamp is fairly large to work in a variety of locations (eg, headboard, bedside stand). The spring loaded retaining mechanism might be tricky if you have arthritic hands due to the spring tension. There are allen head tension points on the base and arms. An allen-wrench was provided. I have needed to make a few minor adjustments with each arm and the base. The mechanism that holds the phone/tablet there is a ball and socket joint with a ring nut that can be adjusted by hand. I just love this and use it every day. I might purchase one to go with the guest bed, and one for my hobby room when I need my phone or tablet near my working area.l Thanks to this I don't fatigue holding my tablet in bed. I can read my online books with dozing off and dropping the tablet onto my face.
