This elastic was exactly as described. It was perfect for a simple sewing project. Swapping out old elastic on a few pairs of pull on shorts with this new elastic as a replacement. Worked perfectly.

This is serious elastic, clean, firm, and strong. I had trouble with it. I don't think the fault lies in the elastic, but in what I was trying to do with it--sew a waistband for a costume. Because the elastic is so strong, I had trouble getting it into the casement. When I tried to pull it so I could sew, it wouldn't yield and the sewing machine needle broke. After four times, I switched to an elastic with more give, and the waistband went in perfectly. As I said before, this is good elastic, but very strong. Make sure that strong is what you want.

I have no but. Have much difficulty keeping pants up. I cut these and use as a belt. I especially use them with elastic rimmed pants. It works great!!! They last for years
