Turns out its for a set and that said these are worth every penny, not sure why folks think they're over priced. Go cheap and enjoy your bent poles. The metal feels both thick and durable and has survived some pretty strong winds with a 13'x10' tarp. They look good and have a nice shine to them. I did a fair amount of product research on tarp poles to see what would last me the longest because I live by the "Buy once, cry once" mindset nowadays and these seem to fit the bill. The other telescoping poles on amazon all had tons of reviews talking about how their poles bent in half in the first use so I tried to avoid that and get some reputable poles and they have delivered thus far.My only complaint is the cost of these suckers. Yes they are strong but damn it hurts to pay this much for a single pole. And I had to buy 2.
