Effective in killing the jumping worms!
This is the best solution I have found to effectively kill the jumping worms that have plagued my gardens (2 acres). I had been manually picking them out from the soil which has been ridiculously time consuming and not very effective in the long run. Even the areas of my yard that I thought were okay because I had been vigilantly removing them all summer were still loaded with them as I saw when I used this product. I’m hopeful that after a couple years of applying it in the spring and late summer I will kill them before they lay their cocoons and eventually eradicate them for good! It is well worth the money when I think of the thousands of hours I have spent in the last few years trying to defeat them. It would be much nicer to use my time to actually plant and enjoy my gardens then continually pick worms out.

This stuff works!!
OK, So, we have tried a number of insecticides and caterpillar to kill the horrible Asian jumping worms. Nothing got rid of them. Every time it would rain, the worms would come out and get all in our pool. This went on for 3 years. Finally, I used this product 1 time and so far, it has rained several times and the worms appear to be gone. After the application, it rained the next day and there were a few worms in the pool. The next time only one worm in the pool and since then NO WORMS. To apply the tea seed I simply put the seed in a seed spreader and spread the seeds directly to the grass, shrubs and mulch surrounding the pool area. I got an extra bag just in case, but I have not had to use it so far. I am not sure that they are gone for good because we have a large property, but this stuff works!! BTW, we live in Florida so it is very warm climate for most of the year. I hope this helps.

This Stuff works on Jumping Worms
Bottom line: This stuff kills jumping worms. We have a major infestation and through handpicking, solarizing where feasible, and TSM, we have knocked it down to a somewhat manageable level from what was a garden horror story.. Some possibly helpful tips 1. If no rain in the forecast, repeat multiple light waterings if your soil has become hydrophobic. 2. wait 48 hours water again, the TSM did not all dissolve the first time. 3. It's expensive but you don't need much; hand spreader works great. I haven't seem any negative effects on veggies or plants but it's early days. TSM will be a regular part of my garden chores until they are declared a pest (which they 100% are) and something that kills the eggs becomes available. Until that time, it's going to be an ongoing battle.

Good product but too expensive!
I bought this to treat a jumping worm infestation in my compost pile and now in my raised garden beds. It definitely brings them to the surface, but they flee, and they move so quickly, I have been hand picking them and putting them in vinegar water to kill them. The regular earthworms are definitely killed, but they move slower, so they kind of steep in the mix of this and water. I have also noticed it seems to fertilize the areas I've used it in well, too. BUT, you need a lot to treat the worms, and it's too expensive! Wish they would bring the price down or get more sellers with the same product to compete for sales.

Finally a Solution for Jumping Worms!
I discovered a severe jumping worm infestation in my garden and hand picked over 100 worms from just a 2×3 area before losing hope. After researching solutions, I found Planet Turf Tea Seed Meal. Once I applied and watered it the worms quickly came to the surface and died. I’m so relieved this actually worked! It doesn’t kill eggs, so I plan to reapply during the next hatch cycle. Highly recommended if you’re battling jumping worms.

Kills Asian Jumping Worms (and earthworms) - not safe for dogs if ingested
Discovered Asian Jumping Worms in our yard last year. This spring, I got tea seed meal and spread it during a rainy day. Worms came up and were still moving around, but didn't go back in ground, and eventually died. Sadly, the birds were not interested in picking them up, so I had their decomposing corpses to deal with for a few days. I think I may need to reapply, as I have still found a few alive while digging. This is the easiest and least yucky way to get rid of them, I just hope I didn't kill any other beneficial insects other than earthworms (which are actually an invasive species in the Americas as well). A word of caution: make sure your pets don't eat this stuff. Mine went out into the yard and ate some, then threw it all up 30 minutes later. I gave her an activate charcoal capsule and she was fine after. She luckily didn't attempt to eat any of it again.

It worked very well on Jumping Worms - and as a fertilizer.
I bought this to control Jumping Worms in my vegetable garden. It worked very well - with now mess and while also fertilizing my vegetables! The worm level went from finding up to 20 worms per potato plant(!) to 0 to 2. They did come back somewhat after a few weeks but it's a month later and the numbers are still down. ALSO the worms died underground. So there was no disturbing mess. I will start to use this every spring to hit them back at the start of the season and again in August to hit them back before they lay eggs.

Kills Asian Jumping Worms
Really works on Asian jumping worms! I poured some on the areas where I saw the tell-tale coffee ground dirt and watered it. I came out this morning to find dead worms in those areas. Very happy with this and will continue to use it!
