This heater works well for my small tank. I love being able to see what the temperature is for my fish.

I wish they had a separate probe for temperature, but I don't know that it makes any difference, I've just always used that style. I am using these in both 5 gallon buckets and 5.5 gallon glass aquariums, and they are really easy to set the temperature, have a bright and easily read display, good suction cups (surprised to see these small units come with 2 cups.) as a general rule I do not use glass heaters, but because these are temporary while I set up a sump, I didn't want to spend the money on titanium, and I don't even know if titanium heaters can be purchased at this low of a wattage. The glass seems plenty thick and the large rubber bumpers on the top and bottom stick out enough that they should be pretty durable. I think for the money these are great heaters, and even after I am done with them I'll be happy to have them around as backup. I've been running them for a few weeks so I can't speak to longevity, but they are doing their job, and as long as you do your part placing them properly in an area with good flow, they are very stable. Unlike another small cheap heater I have that came with a tank, these stay in place, so I feel safer about them not falling against some hardscape or getting buried in substrate.

Cute little heater, it's perfect for my 12 gallon hospital tank. It's really cool that this will also fit nicely in a corner.

My Cost for heater: excellent Accuracy: measured with another floating thermometer - pretty accurate though it's hard to measure exactly but close enough for me. It is very warm temps where I reside currently so once cold weather hits, if things change on temp, I will update my review. Size: very small which is perfect for my 2.5 gallon acrylic tank. Suction cup holders: work fantastic & are easy to apply Temp Contoller: here's where I knocked off a star. It states in instruction that it is NOT waterproof. Umm this is directly close by, WATER! Chances of water droplets dripping on it are pretty great, even w/great care. This makes me nervous. I will have to devise something to clip this far from water splashes yet at same time making sure to create a loop in cord & perhaps placing something around the cord at loop to act as a collar to catch any water. My suggestion to mftr would be to include a dipped silicone collar on the cord & perhaps a waterproof housing for the temp controller. However due to value vs cost, I am only taking one star for this. Other safety features on temp controller displayed in error codes is very helpful & does work. My water line dipped low & immediately an error code appeared. Overall I love this heater. It is much better than a previous flat one I had purchased in-store prior having no way to set a temp on the other product. I forgot to get video or pic so will update later w/one.

This heater does not work. Unfortunately I bought it in June in preparation of cold weather so couldn’t return by the time I actually got to use it. The current temperature sensor simply does not work at all!! It will randomly change 10 degrees from actual temp. It’s a waste of money.

Calienta bien, tengo un pez beta que necesita el agua casi tibia, y este calentador cumple su cometido, toco la pecera y en efecto queda casi tibia, sin poco más de 3 galones de agua, incluso se puede ver que el pez está feliz porque nada mucho.

Recibí hoy el producto y después de usarlo por aproximadamente 40 minutos el plástico del termostato se fundió. El foco indicador que tiene deshizo el plástico.
