Impossible to use.
Difficult to get the tin open. Mine was a solid block, like hard toffee. I tried getting scrapings, but they wouldn't mix with the isopropyl alcohol. Put me behind for a day.

Solidified block of activated rosin flux (use with Isopropyl Alcohol!)
After prising tin open with a penknife I was surprised (as have been other reviewers) to see a solid crystal of rosin, not a liquid/goo. Luckily it grates into a fine powder very easily with a sharp knife. Mix the powder into a small amount of pure isoproypyl (rubbing) alcohol and you have created your own sticky liquid flux, which can also be cleaned away with the rubbing alcohol. This can also be grated/chipped and melted directly with a soldering iron - it melts immediately on touch and adheres well to connectors without being pre-mixed with alcohol - but most are used to using liquid flux. Successfully used this for a small smd board repair of a laptop after ripping a fan connector from the board. Have probably over 95% left over for future jobs
