Bought for the passageway between my house and garage. Mounted the light on the corner of the garage and the solar cell quite far away on the fence behind my garage. Charging seems to be really good and the light is very bring indeed. There are a few settings, so you can control how bright it is. I guess in winter, when there is less sunlight it'll be better to have a lower output.Couple of things of note:1. Good brightness.2. Long cable allows cell to be far away from light, which is good for security (i.e. can't cut cable before light is approached) and is convenient to mount.3. Good mounts for both light and solar cell allow it to be removed for cleaning and such.4. Brilliant movement detection that is nicely sensitive and was easy to set up.Overall, I'd recommend it and buy it again, if I needed to.

I thought I was taking a chance on this solar-powered exterior light, because (a) of its price and (b) I live in Scotland, which is not known for its sunny weather and (c) I was locating it at the side of the house which doesn't get that much sun. Furthermore the days are short here in the depths of winter.How has it fared after 1 year? Brilliantly! It was easy to set up - and the solar panel can be positioned some distance away from the light which means you can have the light where you need it and place the panel where it gets the most light.Despite the potential issues I envisaged, it has continued to light up our outside rubbish (garbage) bins at the (otherwise) unlit side of the house, when I go out at night. Last weekend we had severe weather including winds of 90 to 100mph, but the components are all still there and still working.Every now and then you buy something inexpensive that you don't have confidence will work or last. It is such a joy when they exceed expectations like this.

Needed a shed light to be run from solar as no locally situated electrical connection. Well made from quality materials & very easy to set up. Very bright, the light has done to job so far, but does at times fail to come on, so hence the 4 stars only. All in all this is a good light with more + than - .

Great light

I needed a light for my front steps where a power cable is impractical and a roof would prevent the fixed solar panel. Seeing this with the sroarate solar panrl solved my problems.Two screws fixed the light to theceoid above the door, two more fixed the solar panel outside tjevroofvarea at thevother side if my house so it pointscawayvfrom the shade of a huge tree in the street. Easy installation.Day 1 nothing. Then I discovered a hidden rubber coverd switch on the back.of the light. This turned it on and even with tjecdull winters daylight to charge it, the light is amazing. My dark steps are now brightly lit at night. Excellent.

I've bought one of these before and they are great. Both are good quality and give a great light. This one had a remote control which the last one didn't come with. I'm very pleased with this product.

Zero stars dont buy

This is my second purchase & still as good as the first one. Being able to pick how bright the light is helps placement. Perfect, easy to install, easy to adjust. Also has a very long lead from solar panel to light making it easy to place light where you need it without compromising the solar part. Very pleased & would recommend
