I was looking for an affordable all-in-one printer for home use, and this HP model ticked all the boxes. I don’t print large volumes, mostly homework for the kids, tickets, or occasional documents, so this was a perfect fit. Setup was straightforward, and HP’s customer support was excellent, they helped me register the printer, activate the Instant Ink offer, and answer all my questions. The print quality is sharp, colours look great, and it’s quiet. I really appreciate the wireless printing feature, being able to print directly from my phone or laptop anywhere in the house is a big plus. Scanning and copying work well too, and even though it doesn’t have automatic double-sided scanning, the HP app makes it easy by reordering pages automatically. After a few months of use, I’m very happy with it. For the price, it offers great functionality, solid performance, and convenience. Highly recommended for home or light office use.

A great printer for the price I got it for. I’d recommend it to almost anyone. And I come from a HP deskjet and a HP Envy 6020e. This printer looks great and has never faulted since I got it out. It comes with free ink out the box and has great printing quality and very fast speeds. It’s quite heavy and large but everything else like easy setup, touchscreen and easy troubleshooting for paper jams etc balance that out.

I’ve been using this HP OfficeJet Pro 8122e for a while now and it’s been a reliable everyday printer/scanner/copier that ticks most of the boxes I need. What I liked: Easy setup and wireless printing — the HP Smart app makes connecting phones, laptops, tablets, etc., really simple. Crisp, clear text printing and decent colour documents for things like work pages, flyers and everyday prints. Text comes out sharp at standard resolutions. Good paper handling with up to 225 sheets in the main tray and a 35-sheet ADF for multi-page scanning/copying. Automatic duplex (double-sided) printing is super handy for saving paper and works without fuss. The touchscreen interface feels nicer than many budget printers — quick to navigate and not clunky. What could be better: Photos and detailed graphics aren’t amazing — colour prints can look a bit washed out compared to dedicated photo printers. Running costs can add up if you don’t use HP’s Instant Ink subscription — cartridges aren’t the cheapest per page. It’s a bit larger/heavier than some compact models, so make sure you have desk space. Who it’s good for: Perfect if you need a reliable all-in-one for home office or small business tasks — printing documents, scanning, and occasional colour jobs — without spending loads. Not ideal if photo printing is a priority. My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) — great value and performance for everyday use.

What the printer prints comes out in good quality but the function of the printer is poor. The settings keep resetting to factory default i.e when you want to print a document on 1 face per page it keeps resetting to double side printing. On the rare occasion you get it to work it will still randomly print a couple of pages on double side printing in the middle of a document. This makes it impossible to scan a document back in full after signing for instance without merging pdfs and reordering them. The scan function is also poor. Again for some random reason it will only let you scan 1 page at a time on the glass scanner even though its meant to have the capability to scan several before sending to your laptop/computer.

This printer is excellent, and I particularly appreciate the ability to print remotely via the application. It allows me to send documents or files to the printer, which then promptly prints them as needed. The print quality is also very high. Furthermore, the ink subscription service is quite reasonable and affordable. You can choose a monthly page allowance that suits your needs, which will then determine the subscription price, and new ink will be automatically sent to you before you run out.

Right..This review is my preliminary one on the Printer received 12/10/2024. First impression is very positive. Well constructed like the two colour tone, and working perfectly with Wireless connection. I began the installation today 13/10/2024 and delighted with the self install instructions displayed on the printers window which swivels for ease of reading and all up and running after just 10mins., Paper alignment and copy print of an invoice from my photos app went without a hitch, the print speed is very good, the print is sharp with no smudging. I did read some of the negative reviews prior to purchasing this particular model but the many positives convinced me to buy this model so wondered if the purchasers were confused by the poor instructions in the booklet that came with the printer which was pretty useless to the 1st time buyer. I will update in about 6 months. The Printing Ink monthly payment plan is worth considering with a choice of payments based on the amount of paper used. I am a light user but covered myself with the 50 pages per month plan, just one plan higher than the 10 pages per month and their are higher plans specifically for business users. Buying alternative Ink Cartridges from a competitor because they would be cheaper doesn’t work, HP have a monopoly on their cartridges due to the Barcode attachments so it would be impossible to use alternatives, separate HP cartridges can be purchased but having compared prices know that HP use genuine Ink Cartridges which last much longer than cheaper alternatives so represent excellent value and HP will send replacement Cartridges before the current ones run dry provided of course you purchase the Ink plan of your choice so something to think about. Super imprimante ! Quelques petites erreurs dans l'application HP mais tout s'est connecté et imprime merveilleusement bien :) Faut bien suivre les étapes et ne pas hésiter à chipoter si quelque chose ne fonctionne pas.

I bought this as a replacement for an old HP photo smart printer. The print quality is good so far but the build quality is nowhere near that of the photo smart. It seems very fragile and not at all robust. Time will tell how reliable it is.
