I use a lot of electronic modules but these are "crazy" good. They work, have excellent range, smaller than you might think from the pictures (small enough to fit into an existing electric box {depending on what else is in there] to automate an existing light switch}), and an unbelievable value. However, as usual for Chinese electronic products, the engineering is excellent as is the construction quality, but the documentation is the weak spot. In particular, there is one misleading wiring aspect. The unit has a neutral line (white) for the line voltage in and a second neutral line connection for the output. Usually, if controlling a light or other line operated device, there is only on neutral wire. What they don't say is that you don't have to use the output neutral connection. You just need three wire connections: hot (black) in, hot (black) out and the line neutral (white) in. The two neutral connections (in and out) are likely just connected together inside. They also show a connection for a switch, which is good, but they don't mention that a switch is not required since there is a built-in switch on the body of the device (used for pairing as well as on/off). Of course, you will likely use the "Smart Life" app for control and/or Alexa or Google. I will also say that this device paired very quickly, faster than others (hold down the button of the device until the blue light blinks putting it into pairing mode.) It is also a real switch (likely a relay so no dimming) and I am using it to turn on/off a couple of 1000 watt motors.

It connects quickly with the smart home app. There are 3 ways to control it. If you turn it on, and shut off power, you turn power back on, it comes on. Same if you turn it off. It will not change when power is switched. It is compact. I have it in a plastic 4plex box with cover, in a cabinet, works fine

These fit in my 3 gang box, but just barely. They were added to SmartLife very easily., and they seem to work really well. I integrated them with SmartThings and have an automated routine to turn my outside lights on when I come home. So far, I am really pleased with these.

Excellent way to gain very stable and simple on/off voice and app control for a new 20 inch low profile ceiling light/fan that did not have any wifi connectivity .... but it does now ! Over the last 2 months I have put up 5 - 20 inch low profile ceiling light /fan combo fixtures .... all 5 are now connected to my smart life app and work the light on/off through Alexa , the initial wifi set up was done in about 20 seconds !

Great idea, and when they stay online, they work very well! They don’t stay online, however, and require a power cycle to restore them. That’s just not very effective for a device that’s supposed to be used for controlling things remotely.

So I went to buy these and was skeptical about it do to how cheap they are and then when they arrived how small they where, but after hooking them up, I found that not only do they work and fit inside of a electrical light switch boxes, with the light switch also hooked up. It turns a normal light switch into a smart switch, and with all the smart light switches I have used, none of them are as reliable then these switches. I find that once you connect them to your wifi they preform amazing. With no lost connections/disconnects. Unlike most smart light switches that disconnect frequently. These switches seam to have great wifi connectivity. And I plan to buy more of them soon.

I bought a package of two switches because it had the best price for a Wi-Fi switch I could find on Amazon at that time. I found they work fine over Bluetooth but lose Wi-Fi connection after about a day, making it unusable unless you are near the switch. I contacted the seller (Smarthome_ Direct) and they were responsive. After some trouble shooting attempts, the seller sent me replacement switches. The replacement switches had the same issue. Either I was unlucky enough to get batches of bad switches twice, or it appears the switches are designed to fail to stay connected over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router. I’m still giving 3 stars for the seller’s great after sales service attempts. If you needed Bluetooth only switches, it might work out for you.

Works by turning an existing switch to a smart switch! It’s small, but you need room in the switch box to install this. About 1”x1”x1/2”
