Easy to fit, and very sturdy. We'll made. It feels solid.

Good lock, easy to fit and does the job well
The lock was sent quickly. I bought it on Thursday and it arrived on Saturday which was handy as I needed to use the campervan that weekend. It was fairly easy to fit and you just need to think about the task. You should not need an expert, thought they would fit it quicker. It just needs 4 screws to be removed and then to be aligned with the door jamb. This is the trickiest part as you will want the door to be a tight fit. You may need to cut a spacer to fit between the door and the lock to ensure that the lock is a tight fit and secure. The design of the lock part of the unit is a sealed unit so if you break it you will need a whole new lock as it cannot be repaired. Everything you need for fitting the lock is in the box, lock unit, handle unit and screws. Of course you will need a Philips screwdriver. Once fitted the lock will be stiff. A little lock lubricant can help, but otherwise just lock and unlock the door a few times and it will loosen up enough operate comfortably. One small problem was that the advert did not appear to mention that the model I bought is a lock for the left hand side of the door when really I wanted a right hand door fitting. Despite this the lock fitted well and I just need to keep in mind that when locking the door that I now have to turn the key anti-clockwise which is not a big deal.

great replacement door lock
This fitted the hole remaining from removal of the broken lock, fitted in place easily, has been in use for some time with no problems at all. Just what you need for a broken caravan lock.

Great but it’s really stiff so I can’t use it really I’m too weak to turn the tiny key. I need to invest in ub49 or whatever it’s called

Perfect fit
Great iteam. I used it on my folding caravan it fit perfect. the only down is it's very stiff to turn but very happy to lock my caravan again
