The item itself is exactly what it is pictured. it is very sturdy! and the instructions for assembly was flawless! it was very clear and I didn't make any mistakes while assembling it. (typically I make some mistakes and have to go back and redo it.) but the directions were super clear (though it could have used some words in the directions but it was all pictures, which is fine since I am definitely a visual learner) There were many parts to assemble and it took about a couple of hours however the result was worth it! Also all the pre-drilled holes fit like a glove and the manufacturer really thought through the details, for example they even put spacers to drill onto the backside of the backboard so that it would push the backboard forward against the shelves so that when you put books on shelves, it won't push the backboard and bow out (I've never seen this in some the other similar shelves that I've put together). It was very well made in my opinion as far as these flatpack furniture goes. But my hand was shot afterward from all the screws I had to put in, there were definitely two blisters (probably would have been better if I had used a power drill for some of the screws). It is exactly what we needed to get the book situation under control in our house. I am extremely happy with the result, definitely worth the money and it looks great!

Looks great: Cute and gender neutral Design: Shelf and cabinet sizes are able accommodate books in varying heights, board games, legos, puzzles, bins, boxes, etc. Value for money: Cost is significantly lower than name brands and is still great quality.

It did take a while to put this together. But once it was done, it turned out nicely and looks great. Great storage and organization. My grandson helped me put it together; it was a good project for us. He really likes it and enjoys filling it up and organizing,

Easy for my sister and I to assemble. Great for a nursery. Bins hold a lot of items and it holds a lot of books. Definitely needs to be mounted to wall in case of a climbing child but a great product when used correctly

Much larger than I expected! And very heavy when in the box! Instructions were easy to follow, I was able to assemble it in two days without help little help and home with a newborn. Love the rolling drawers at the bottom for toys and library for books!

The size is perfect for a nursery. It fits a real good amount of books, plus fits all the toys he has too. It was really easy to put together and has so far been very sturdy. The drawers at the bottom are a tiny bit flimsy and roll if not put in place correctly, but other than that I love it. I would purchase it again.

I only needed one bookshelf but I accident purchased two, and I’m very glad I did. I put one in my daughter’s room and one in the living room. The bookshelves are beautiful and they’re made with exceptional quality and seem very sturdy. They also serve more than one purpose. You can put toys away in the bottom drawers, books on the stacked rows and games on the bottom and side shelves. Both of my spaces now look more organized and less cluttered. There is also a cool shelf built in the back of the bookcase to store things you don’t want others to see.
