Chorizo Making Kit

This was a present to me from my wife. I followed the instructions but added about two to three tablespoons of smoaky paprika (Spanish) extra. I then made the chorizo mix and left it in the fridge for two days. I used my sausage machine to fill the skins as directed in the instructions. As they dry and cure they have to be wiped with white vinegar every two or three days. Depending on the conditions, warmth, humidity and air flow they should be ready after about three weeks. Longer the better I think, (within reason). They will loose between a quarter and a half of their weight, and they are worth waiting for. I have a home in Extremadura where the worlds very best Iberian pig is farmed and the worlds very best jamon is produced. Well, these home made chorizos compare very favourably with the local chorizo. I have just made a second batch and look forward to them. Easily worth 5 stars, more if I could. Ignore the negative reviews and try them for yourself.

Looks good its a gift so not used yet

I purchased one of these for my husband‘s birthday a couple of years ago and have purchased another one as a Christmas present for this year. We had great fun making the sausages and they were delicious.

This was my first run at Chorizo. The kit was delivered fast and i followed the instructions. Produced a good product. Have now moved onto making my own but a good, if pricey introduction to making your own artisan Chorizo.

Seems to be maturing as expected hope to see the results soon very quick delivery

My wife and I are big chorizo lovers but this kit does not make chorizo. It's some kind of dry sausage that tastes overseasoned and very artificial. Absolute dud. AVOID.
