I'd give more stars if I could, it's fantastic. My PC and other equipment is on a UPS but my router is downstairs and I didn't want a whole big UPS just for that, but with this my router runs through power cuts with no problem. I don't know exactly what the runtime is but we've had a load of power cuts since installing it and it's performed flawlessly. Super easy to use, the only thing I wish it had was some sort of interface so you could monitor the battery level and then perform some actions if it gets low, but that's probably just because I'm a smart home fanatic and want to monitor everything way too much, in reality I perform actions based on my main UPS.

UPS bought to back up a VOIP router. This unit has an output of 12V DC at max 3A and the output is via a pluggable cable which is included along with a selection of barrel plugs. It needs its own external power supply which must be rated slightly higher than the max output required; it's not included. The input DC power is via a dc barrel plug with a 2.5mm centre-positive hole. In most cases your existing router adapter will be enough. The UPS itself requires 250mA charging current in addition to whatever output is demanded. (the recommended power supply is 12V 4A to give max output capacity plus charging). There is no wall mounting method. Overall capacity of the UPS is stated as 27.75Wh. It's small and fits just about in the palm of a hand. As its made by APC, (Schneider) it's likely to be made well.

The supplied plugs and adapters don't fit the OpenReach / BT ONT. To make it work, I soldered on new plugs to the PSU and to the output of this unit - voiding the warranty. It does work nicely once the connection problem is solved and provides a few ours backup for the ONT. Would be five stars if they supplied adapters compatible with BT and Openreach gear and a way of wall mounting it.

Works as stated on the box although not yet tested how long it can power a wifi mesh setup node yet?The only down side is there is no power supply provided, you are meant to use an existing one from the device you are backing up!

As advertised: Supports a recent-model Openreach ONT no problem, ran for over an hour and went about 30% discharged (ish). Installation quick, plug-and-play, with the supplied yellow tip adapters. Cable on the unit, though not shown in the pictures, is plenty long enough!

Excellent product for router - gives good emergency cover for power-cuts or spikes. Looks smart and is quite discrete. One star off for limited (two) conversion tips for plugging the UPS into the router - these did not work with a BT Hub. Not a major problem: I had to buy a cheap set of a dozen different converter ends to get one that fitted. But it might encourage a user to try and force a connection or hack on which could damage the modem/ router.

Only just installed this, so no test on how long it powers our internet modem. But pulling the power plug worked fine with the unit indicating it is on battery power with 75% battery left. (A nice range of errors can be reported by the 5 LEDs, if you have the instructions handy to interpret them.)Instructions say batteries should be good for 3-5 years.We are out in the country and prone to short power glitches, which this will handle nicely, instead of losing the connection for say 10 minutes. The longer cuts, it should allow an hour or two of extended use on our battery powered tablet, laptops and mobiles. This will also cover the digital landline, when it arrives here.Jack plugs can come in several sizes. This uses the common 5.5mm x 2.5mm size with two pairs of converters, which seem to be for other common sizes 5.5mm x 2.1mm and 4.5mm x 1.7mm.However it seems that Plusnet use 5.5mm x 3.1mm! The socket in the APC unit copes with the difference, but the plug out of it into the modem needs a converter. In my case, I recycled the plug from an old Plusnet Hub 1 modem, wiring this to a 5.5mm x 2.5mm socket and now it functions fine. (Don't forget to check the polarity of such wiring).

D'après les calculs par rapport aux specs de la caméra devrait tenir quand même sensiblement plus longtemps.Donc un rapport prix/performance quand même défavorable.

conforme alle aspettative, si puo' collegare da subito, e dopo una notte e' completamente carico. Ho sostituito una unita' UPS che occupava lo spazio di un ferro da stiro a caldaia! Vediamo quale sara' la durata delle batterie, ma per adesso ottimo prodotto

This is pretty much plug and play for a typical Australian NBN HFC Modem. You just put this between your existing power adapter and the modem - the standard plug size is 2.5mm barrel type DC connector - but they include two other size options if you need them. Installs in seconds and just works. I tested a full charge and got 90 minutes of use on my modem before it reached 1/2 power remaining - I would guess it could run the modem close to 3 hours. Why not 5 stars? because the price is too high by 2x. This little DC UPS costs more than a 4 plug AC UPS which granted is far less efficient and makes a bunch of heat, but the AC UPS can serve many devices. So you only want one of these if for some reason you don't want a standard AC UPS - in my application I have a small enclosed network shelf in a closet and it heats up too much with an AC UPS in it - so I bought this. If they cost half as much I'd buy more and use them for routers, security devices, etc. I paid 113 AUD, and got it within 2 days free delivery.

Excellent UPS. I'm using it to keep my FRITZ!Box 7583 online in the event of a power failure.
