This is a perfect snack container and seals tight but lid is easy to put on and take off. Haven’t had a single ant in it! It’s a great looking piece so we keep in on our kitchen counter. Love it and getting another one, or two.

I love this tin bread box! It is so cute and it is exactly what I was looking for. It fits in perfectly with my decor. There's only one thing thats a bit bothersome. The lid is very difficult to put on or to take off and sine the whole point is to keep the bread off the counter in the box it's a little frustrating. Maybe I will try some Vaseline?

Beautiful bread box. It holds plenty and I’ve had no issues with it so far. I don’t use the handle to open it because it feels like it will break like my dog treat canister handle did. It seals great.

I just love the look of this. I returned a different breadbox that was stainless steel with air holes for this. The lid seals very tight. Not sure if this is bad or good but there are no air holes in this bread box. It has been great storing our homemade bread. I had one very similiar from another company that rusted in the inside on the bottom. I wonder if the air holes would help to prevent this? Also, I am not sure if it was made with the same kind of metal as this one. Since then, I have always placed my bread on a clean cotton cloth within any container. It is very spacious and holds a 2.5 pound loaf with no problem. If it gets rusty and I am alive to tell about it, I will update this review.

Keeps everything safe from rodents

The lid of this item is too tight, even after removing the gasket. I was hoping to be able to lift the lid with one hand, but that isn't possible; maybe the one I received is faulty. Other than that, it's pretty and doesn't feel cheap.

It is solidly built, my only issue is that the top sometimes is hard to get off, but I guess that feature is needed to keep the contents fresh.
