Very good quality.

Lacks the precision* of the much more expensive (Mecmesin) gauges I've used in the past, but accuracy seems good. Unit feels robust, and is supplied in a decent protective case, complete with a range of tips (including a very useful hook), accessories for mounting if desired, and intelligible instructions. Mine is used for all sorts of tasks, from assessing springs (rig and fixture design), though button force testing (product design), to weighing my chunky e-bike! Probably unbeatable at this price.

Bought it to test door opening forces. Item easy to use and does the job well. Will be getting more for our team.

I have to measure the force needed for opening doors (for disability access requirements) so I need to use a force meter. This one is easy to use, reasonably compact and it comes with a ton of different attachements to test push, pull etc. The case it comes in is solid (but heavy) and I've stopped using it because I have a bag with all my other equipment in, but if you need a case the included one is very solid. No danger of damaging this meter when it's in the case. I particularly like the peak measure feature, since doors vary in heavinness as you open them and I need to know the heaviest point. The display is clear and easy to read and the whole thing is simplicity itself to use.
