The temperature could be a little higher but it is ok. The controlling valve (washing machine type) supplied leaked a little, but as I asked the plumber to fit stop valves to all my fittings it was not a problem and it was removed to solve the problem. I have about 1 bar pressure (within the required 0.5 bar) but it did reduce the flow a little - so make sure your pressure is at l;east 1 bar or you could have issues. Instructions could have been better, but I guess there is something lost in translation however, it was fitted without too much problem. The flow direction is indicated by arrows on the flat side of the unit. My plumber missed these although I didn't. Either way for a cloakroom fitting it is just what I wanted. Has been fitted two weeks now and good enough so far. Also it depends on your cold water feed temperature, the warmer the water the less heating is reqd. Hope this helps. **Q: can a 13 amp plug supply the unit** A: No it won't as it is 3.7Kw that's 16.08 Amps, should really be on its own circuit. **Q: The newly installed unit does not heat water. What is the warranty procedure outside the 30 day period?** A: Can't help with the warranty unfortunately, but the water flow and pressure need to be in the correct range. If there isn't enough flow, it won't switch the power on, and if you have too much water flowing through it won't be heated up enough. I had to fit a pressure reducing valve in my system. A 3.7kw is only suitable for a wash basin or a small sink. Hope I have been some help to you. **Q: What turns it on in operation? Has it an internal pressure switch?** A: Not sure, but it comes on when tap turns on so must be pressure or flow. I have 6 years untroubled use although plumber nearly fitted it the wrong way around and you need to be gentle with the plastic fittings mine came with.
