Wow what a little hidden gem here! Great rich scent with a nice sweetness to it. I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice it smelled and how the presentation felt for such a good price.

This is a good alternative to the original. It definitely won't replace the original but it's pretty close. When I got mine and initially sprayed it I wasn't too sure. There was a strange note I couldn't quite put my finger on. But it's been macerating for a number of weeks now and smells much better. The tobacco and plum notes are there along with the distinctive guerlain almond note. A cheap winter/fall fragrance

Quiet Luxury, Mature and Refined — My Honest Take on Supreme L’Homme Extreme Overall Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5) ➤ First Impressions & Presentation The bottle has a solid, confident presence, and the cap impresses with its sturdiness—you can lift the entire bottle by it without worry. The atomizer works well, releasing a fine mist, though it lacks the premium tactile feedback you might expect from a luxury fragrance. On the first spray, I was met with a sharp blast of alcohol—likely a result of insufficient maceration. Surprisingly, the second spray was much smoother, with the alcohol note barely noticeable, allowing the fragrance to shine right from the start. This gives me hope that the scent is already evolving in a positive direction. ➤ Fragrance Notes Breakdown Top Notes — Where the Magic Begins Almond and pink pepper take center stage, offering a soft, nutty warmth with just the right touch of spice. A gentle kiss of bergamot adds freshness without tipping into overly citrusy territory. The opening feels balanced, smooth, and mature—especially when the alcohol note doesn't get in the way. Heart Notes — Unexpected Brilliance A rich plum note—warm and inviting—emerges with a hint of cinnamon, creating a mildly gourmand heart that never feels overdone. I’m not usually a plum fan, but here it adds depth and warmth without going syrupy. Heliotrope brings a creamy, powdery sophistication—like a fine cashmere scarf draped over a tailored suit. Base Notes — Deep & Polished The drydown leans into a sweet, honeyed tobacco—more like pipe tobacco than anything smoky. Patchouli and cedar provide structure and earthiness, grounding the scent with elegance. A subtle leather nuance lingers in the background, enhancing the scent’s mature and refined finish. ➤ Performance Longevity: Around 5+ hours on skin, longer on fabric and in cooler temps. Sillage: Moderate—noticeable to those close by but never overwhelming. Projection: Becomes a close-to-skin scent after about 2 hours—perfect for intimate settings. ➤ When to Wear Seasons: Best suited for fall and winter. Occasions: Romantic evenings, formal gatherings, or quiet moments of introspection. Recommended For: Those who prefer depth and subtle elegance over trendy, attention-grabbing scents—mature and confident wearers. ✅ Pros Smooth, well-balanced composition with clear evolution. Sophisticated plum-tobacco-spice combo that's warm without being cloying. Excellent value for a scent with this level of complexity. Quietly masculine and elegant—never synthetic or overdone. ❌ Cons The first spray revealed a sharp alcohol top note (though this didn’t persist). Atomizer feels slightly underwhelming in quality. ➤ Final Thoughts Supreme L’Homme Extreme is a well-crafted, grown-up fragrance that leans into subtlety and polish rather than flash. It rewards patience and a refined nose. If you enjoy spicy, woody scents with a touch of gourmand sweetness—anchored by tobacco and plum—this deserves a place in your rotation. ➤ Update After Maceration (In Progress) After noticing the improvement between the first and second sprays, I’ve decided to let this scent macerate in a dark place, gently shaking it weekly. Early signs are promising. If the opening continues to soften, this could easily become a 5-star gem. Stay tuned.
