I didn't follow my gut and wasted $60. Like everything in Europe, it's made smaller and cheap. When they say "Made in Europe" it means NOTHING. Think about it: Ikea cheap, and a population that thinks closets, ice, and air conditioning are novelties. This is no different. I needed an ironing board that didn't wobble. I sew a lot. This is no different then the one I bought at Walmart for $25. It is still very wobbly, but a MUCH SMALLER VERSION. Never again. Stay away from European brands. They truly do suck.

Great ironing board - looks good, right size

If I could this would be a 3-1/2 star and NOT a 4 star. The number one thing wrong with this is that it cannot be adjusted for height! One height fits all I guess. Came very close to returning it because of that! I need to sit to work and it cannot come lower so I have to use a high stool which does not work very well. Also the cover is rather thin loose weave, even though it is pretty. It may not stand a washing to keep it clean. The length is short and standard width. I would prefer it longer to fit a 44" wide piece of fabric on it. It says it is for ironing clothes, but who does that these days. The skirt design back is good for pressing quilt blocks. The padding is thicker than many come these days. My husband liked the hanging hook, but that should really be put on a hook IN the studs of wall and not over the door so the weight is not pulling door out of alignment. It is so short that I do not even have to put it away as it fits behind the door while it is standing. It is stable, but it is so lightweight that I can push it around easily and must watch I don't tip it over when I get to the plug behind it. It would be good for a small space but not for making a king sized quilt. It came as promised and was very well packaged so it looked good when it arrived.

This ironing board exceeded my expectation. It is lightweight but sturdy. I bought two of them - my daughter purchased the second one as soon as she saw it. I did not intend to order two ironing boards. It turned out well - we are both happy. Did I mention that the boards can be hung very easily when not in use ? Great feature. I’m 82, my daughter is considerably younger.

We had to fight with our old ironing board every time we wanted to use it. We wrestled it out of the closet, and it was aggravating to get it standing up on its legs. Same in reverse, because when we put it away in a closet, it kept tipping over. This ironing board simply hangs on a rod in our closet with the attached hook. It stays neatly in place and doesn't try to keep popping its legs open. It's also much easier to set it up for ironing and then take it down.

This is just what you need in a small living space. I keep mine folded behind my kitchen door since I never close that door. I could hang it in my closet, but I have too many clothes crammed in there! It is beautiful, nicely shaped and padded, easy to open and fold up - once you figure out what that plastic piece is for, lol! I mostly just lightly iron my cotton blouses and a few pairs of polyester pants that I like to air dry. Others have mentioned that you have to be a little careful about the front end - the legs aren't spread as widely as a standard ironing board and it will tip forward if you put a lot of pressure on the "nose" of the board. I knew that going in and haven't had any trouble with it. My older, larger ironing board FINALLY died and I was so glad to replace it with one that takes up so much less space!

This board is objectively good for small spaces / rooms. It hangs and fits neatly in a small coat closet, and its footprint when in use is unobtrusive. The clicking mechanism that locks the legs in place for ironing (or that you use to fold them) seems sturdy enough and that it won't fail or crack with long-term use. I wouldn't rate this board as being particularly stable. If you're manipulating large items like sheets across the board, it will wobble or move if you're not careful. I also wouldn't rest an iron on here vertically because bumping the board will cause the iron to wobble and tip -- just set the iron on something solid, sturdy, and out of the way. However, I wasn't expecting a compact board to be immovably solid. The padding and cover are thick, and not like a cheap board where you'll feel the metal grid beneath it. After using the board for nearly a year and ironing once or twice a week, it's still holding up. I haven't tried removing the cover because it seems to be on there pretty tightly, and I also haven't had a need to do it, anyway. It seems you can order a replacement from the same seller if the need arises, though. As far as the value, I thought it was a good deal when I bought it for $49.99 in January of 2022; you'll see that it's selling for $64.99, now, and the seller is the same. If I was going to pay that much, I'd cough up an extra $5 and instead buy the same-size Bartnelli board that has the height adjustment and iron holder. You lose the hanger, but in exchange you get something probably more stable (or maybe it's the same as this version) with a purpose-built place to hold the iron. In summary, get this if you absolutely need a built-in hanger for a compact ironing board. Otherwise, for just a little more money, consider looking at Bartnelli's offering that has other more useful features.

It's not as sturdy as a full size ironing board but actually you just have to get used to not pressing so hard. Now that I know how much pressure I can apply, I don't have any tipping issues. I love how light it is and easy to hang. I simply hang it on a 3M hook. Because it is so lightweight, I find I tackle my ironing jobs faster. The fabric is nice and I like the zones. If what you want is a board that is light, easy to store, and is good for small spaces, you cannot go wrong with this ironing board.
