Great selection of styles
I recommend this book to all of my grade 1 students, there are some lovely pieces and a good mixture of genres.

Decent size staves
25 pieces of music, some are easier than grade 1 and a few are harder but we use this book for all ages, and a good size stave too! Some of her Karen's books have small staves which is a nightmare for young children.

nice book for starting learning piano
It has many practising songs. However, it needs a teacher with this book because there is no theory on this book, just practice song only. Student needs to have a basic skill before starting this book. I am a piano teacher for more than 5 years, especially teaching kids from 5 years old to grade 6.
