Real simple install for one of Nissan serious screw ups. Unforgivable to use a cheap plastic switch for a truck release. Had the pathfinder for 8 years broke 4 of them. 3 of them knowing they are fragile.

Very low quality compared to the original. QC issues
Ordered one, it broke in two places on the mount while trying to unstall it. The plastic is very thin, brittle, and cheap. Amazon sent a replacement, but it has an issue where it acts as if always pressed, so there is a short somewhere on it. I was able to combine parts from both to make a working unit, but come on thats ridiculous. Even so, it wobbles and isn't a tight fit, and the actual switch inside feels like it wouldn't last long. Lastly, the weather gasket it comes with is miniscule compared to OEM, so I used the gasket from the original.Sadly, all the "options" for other brand are pretty much the same manufacturer under a hundred different brand names, as is common on Amazon, and there is no other good options so we have to deal with it.... Sad.

Didn't work out for me, but a nice switch.
The original switch went bad because the housing holding it became brittle on broke. Replacing the switch didn't do any good because there wasn't anything to hold the switch left on the original car holder. I ended up replacing the entire outside the hatch part.

It does not have moisture protection, cheap qualaty, super cheap conector. Overal works few month.

Stopped working after a month
I bought this over a year ago..but just installed this a month ago...and already stopped working...lasted a month only..went from working well to slowly working less and less..and now completely non-functional...i am going to need to replace again..but not with this product
