Versatile and healthy umami taste
Very tasty and simple to use for that umami flavour in any savoury dish. Good quality, healthy addition to add in soups, stews and stir fries. I decanted the packet into 8 jars which last for ages (2-3 months), in the fridge and freezer.

Had many varieties but this I seem to come back to Love the hunaki brand but the price has gone up and only 500g instead of 1kg Both excellent

Good quality
Good miso paste. It’s the same price as my local Asian supermarket, when it is around £4. So nothing saved buying it online, but quality seems fine. Price fluctuates so often on Amazon so don’t pay more than £4.

I expected a lot after reading the reviews claiming it was salty and like soy sauce. Maybe it's me, but I don't taste much salt or soy sauce. It tastes very nice if you use a lot. This is not the new Marmite.

Great flavour
This arrived quickly , thank you. This miso paste comes in a vac pac, so I decanted it into a lidded jar to fit in the fridge. It is a really nice umami flavoured addition to the cooking. It’s great for adding to soups, I put it into stir fry’s to enhance the flavours. I have just made some sauerkraut and have put some miso paste into it, to hopefully enhance the flavour ( the Koreans do Kimchi with a type of miso ) I will update when the Sauerkraut is matured and ready to eat.
