Kleiber Sew-on Nappa Leather elbow and knee patches 12.5 cm x 10 cm, Grey, 2 per pack

I relied on the colour shown in the first two photos (at time of purchase) which, to my eyes, appears somewhat lighter than the Patches I received. I probably should have looked at all 4 Photos as, again, to my eyes, the 3rd and 4th Photos now appear to be a truer colour representation compared to the patches I received. Also, if you plan to use on a garment you would hope to include in a 'mixed wash' with other stuff, be careful - the Pack Instructions say something like: Hand Wash Only for a short duration in soapy water, not detergent. My Plan was to add these patches to a Corduroy Jacket, which would need to be Dry Cleaned from time to time. I'm somewhat undecided whether to use them, as I'm left uncertain what effect Dry Cleaning would have on these Patches and their colour.

These patches have given a new lease of life to an expensive wool sweater belonging to my husband. They were really easy to sew on because of the needle holes and produced a really professional finish. I congratulate the seller on the rapid delivery, arriving less than 24 hours after ordering and also on the high quality business-like presentation of the documentation and packaging. I used this after a work hole developed in a favourite coat of mine. These were placed on the elbows and sewn using some strong cotton, along the guide holes already in the pads. Very simple and effective.

the leather is not too soft which is good, like the thickness and colour. very easy to fit

Used to mend a pure wool jumper that had worn at the elbows. Lovely supple leather easy to sew on. Recipient very pleased extended jumpers life.

It was not pointed out that the product was not suitable for dry cleaning. Whoever had their jacket washed? The description is therefore inadequate

The colour is not as it appears. I wanted the colour shown ( light brown) but what arrived is a very dark brown.

Exactly what you expect the patches are good quality and covered the whole and was easy to stich.
