Easy set up. Works good.

More economical than similar live traps, but poor functionality. Trap door gets hung up frequently. Difficult to set. Really difficult to release animal once trapped.

Works great already caught a possum

I think the black wire has something to do with the effectiveness of this trap with opossum and Raccoons however 4 stars because the last raccoon chewed up the trigger rod so badly it was time consuming to get the trap functional again, a raccoon can damage this trap easily, but this destructive raccoon is no longer raiding my grapes!

I ordered 2 cages to trap feral cats to be transported for spaying, one cat squeezed out of the cage and got loose in my vehicle. The spaying place said they would not allow the cats to be transported home in these cages because they were unstable and not reliable to contain the cats. I would not recommend because the wiring is not strong and construction of cages is not sturdy nor reliable.

The trap is designed well however, the setup instructions leave something to be desired. The text is not concise enough to assemble the trap, relies too much on photos. No parts list or picture. How to attach frame fasteners is not clear.

Works great, strong enough to hold.

Arrived with clips broken off and totally useless assembly instructions. I was able to assemble but it does not work - the door does not shut completely.
