I am extremely happy with this saffron! The quality is absolutely amazing—beautiful deep red threads with a strong, rich aroma. It elevates every dish I use it in. Just out of curiosity, I measured the weight myself, and it was exactly 5 grams. I’ve had past experiences where the container weight was included, so I really appreciate the accuracy and transparency here, especially since saffron is not cheap. This is definitely a trustworthy product and seller. I would buy again without hesitation!

Saffron is a flowering herb that is used to enhance and enriching taste and aroma to many Meditranian and eastern cooking cuisines. Like all other ingredients, quality of a given herb makes a world of difference to overall finish taste of food, presentation and end product quality. For years I have used Saffron before but never have I experienced such a fresh and rich taste and aroma. Zaran saffaran product is by far the best I have experienced.

The quality of this Zaran Saffron is definitely impressive. The threads are long, deep red, and have a very potent aroma right after opening the jar. I used it for a seafood paella and a small amount was enough to give the dish a rich golden color and that distinct earthy flavor. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the price point. While the "Super Negin" grade is clearly superior, it is quite expensive for 2 grams. Also, the packaging is nice, but I wish the jar was a bit easier to seal tightly to preserve the freshness longer. Overall, if you are looking for premium saffron for special culinary occasions, this is a solid choice. Great flavor, just wish it was slightly more affordable.

Being new to saffron threads, I found myself reviewing and purchasing several brands and it lead me to one of the best brands I came across. Although I have a few different brands as my options, I find myself using Zaran more than others. The appearance, taste and smell is so amazing. It’s the one I reach for time and time again!! You can’t go wrong with Zaran!! But with confidence in my opinion!!

Took off 2 stars because this is what it looked like upon opening the tin first time. Lots of space in there that coulda fit more product. I’m sorry but this stuff is so expensive you can at least fill up the tin a tad more. Quality is great though but the value/amount for the money is 👎🏽👎🏽 I’ll be going back to Lion brand after this, they at least fill your tin up enough.
