The dish is very well made, very heavy. The stand works very well, dog seems to like eating from this bowl. He was eating his food much too fast. This has slowed him down. I wanted a bowl that was not plastic. The color is beautiful. Most reviews were very happy with their purchase. I am glad I bought from this company. The shipment was great. Like these bowls. Note that the product info when you click into it says “hand wash only” while some of the other info says you can wash them in the dishwasher. And (!) they say “dishwasher safe” on the bottom of the actual bowl!! 🤷‍♂️ ?????? We washed our first set in the dishwasher. Shortly after, one cracked and broke so we had to buy a replacement. I wish the product info was consistent!! Now we hand wash just to be safe bc they are delicate and crack easily. Now, that said, we love the elevated bowls for our pups. Our puppy was eating too fast and often getting hiccups. This bowl has helped him slow down. They are just costly if we end up having to keep replacing them.

It seems to slow my 24 pound mini golden doodle down. He would throw his food up from eating so fast, but today is day three and I have noticed an improvement already.

My 15 lb chihuahua/pomeranian/spaniel mix inhales his food instead of chewing it, so he needs a slow feeder. Other slow feeders slowed him down a tiny bit, but I knew I could find something better. I also needed something elevated because my guy has long ears that get into his food. This bowl is amazing! While I do wish the base was a little bit taller, the bowl itself is fantastic for slowing down my little snackhound. His ears are still getting in his food, but not as much as they were when his bowl was on the floor. Also, the bowl is incredibly solid-feeling, attractive, and actually looks good in my house. This is definitely the best quality slow feeder I've seen, as it's not plastic. It has more ridges to tuck food behind, which actually slows down my dog's food intake in a way that other bowls haven't. I love this bowl so much!

My French Bulldog was eating too fast which caused him to vomit often. It took him a couple of meals to get used to this food bowl, but he has no problems eating from it now. Has helped to slow down his eating and he has had no more vomiting. It's the perfect height for him. The stand is easy to put together and is sturdy. The bowl is heavy and is dishwasher and microwave safe. We like it a lot.
