This is teeny and works great. Heats quickly and gets quite hot (but not too hot, at least in my usage thus far). I got it to travel with to help me spruce up my natural curls where they go flat, especially around my face. My hair is long, so I should have thought more about that (it does clearly say it's for short hair); if I do wind a strand tightly enough around it to fit it all on the barrel, it will end up an absurd, tight little ringlet of half the length the hair started as, which is a little excessive for my purposes. But I've been able to do the top half of the curl and then the bottom half separately to suit my purposes, so I'm willing to do that given how little space this takes up in my luggage. I'm sure it's fantastic for short hair.

This is a lightweight curling iron. Easy to pack and take on your travels. Heat temperature does get really, really hot so you have to keep an eye on it. I placed it on a towel, and it burnt the towel. As soon as it is heated, use it. It makes really nice curls and I like it. You just have to practice with it a bit to figure it out. But overall, worth a 5 rating because of the size and convenience for travel.

This “travel” curling rod heats up quickly, and does the job! Wow! But use a glove when handling the “cool” tip. It gets very warm - so warm, that you should take care to make sure you keep it away from your scalp (and your face) when using. It makes a quick, strong curl , let curl cool and it holds. Be sure to unplug and allow to cool down before storing in its bag. But it’s a very compact, easy to use curling rod and it works well. Remember the glove!

This was a purchase for a planned vacation. The vacation fell through, but this curler is FANTASTIC! It heats up fast and doesn't take much room on the counter or in my travel bag. It comes with a heat resistant storage bag.

I previously ordered a curling iron with a 1" barrel, but I have short hair and needed a tool that was easier to maneuver and get up close to scalp. The Farery curler looked like it would work, and I liked the size for traveling. But the clamp didn't open far enough to get in tight. Had to return it.

Exactly what I needed and wanted. Works great with arthritic shoulders on a 83 year old who wants to still look classy!

I haven't used it long, but it's small & lightweight. My hair does not stick to it. It does get hot, so be sure to place it on a silicone pad. The tip also gets hot, but I don't need to use it. It's not exactly a 1/2" barrel. It's between 1/2" & 5/8", but that works fine for me. I also like that it comes with a storage pouch. It'll be nice for travel.

I purchased this curling iron to take on a cruise with me. It is a great little tool. It gets nice and hot and has a decent grip. It is very small and compact so it was easy to pack in a carry on

Very happy with this purchase. Works great , heats up fast. I have fine/thin hair and this works great. Like the size , small , lightweight I would recommend this product.

Great travel curling iron. Be careful because it gets very hot so don’t leave on your hair too long. I like how small it is and the cover that it comes with.
