New Balance Kids Fresh Foam Arishi V4 Running Shoe (Little Kid)

My 7-year-old son absolutely loves the New Balance Fresh Foam Arishi V4. The cushioning is incredibly soft, and the lace-up design provides a secure fit that keeps him comfortable all day. It’s a fantastic, lightweight running shoe for daily wear and track activities. However, a quick word of advice for parents: these are true running shoes. Because the materials are designed for breathability and forward motion, they may not hold up well against the lateral "scuffing" and toe-dragging involved in sports like soccer. If your child uses them for soccer or rough playground play, you might see some durability issues on the upper mesh. As long as you use them for their intended purpose—running and casual wear—they are top-notch! Great style, amazing comfort, and a happy kid.

The boys 5 shoes I ordered for a boy with ataxia look great, feel great, and most importantly, work great. His orthopedic insert fits perfectly. Much more stable than his previous shoes. Very stylish too. Colors are nice. This size version looks like adult design not infant thank goodness! How fortunate we were that they were half off!

These shoes have been great. My son has worn them daily when it's not raining for over half this school year now. They've held up well. He'll likely see close to a full school year out of them and then they'll become great summer camp shoes. I've come to accept that my kids are much harder on shoes than I am so 2 pairs a year is acceptable. My son has wide feet and it's hard to find in kids shoes- we went with the extra wide in these New Balances and according to him they are much more comfortable. He's 8 and now pretty much sized out of velcro shoes so he's had to learn to tie his shoes this year which has been great for him. The last handful of shoes he's had have all been Kizik athens- I'd also recommend those. Kiziks have served both my kids very well in ease of getting on (litterally hands free) and durablity. They just don't come in wide widths so we gave these New Balances a try and they have been great and held up well to school and 8 year old energy well.

I purchased these for my grandson and I am so glad I did. They are lightweight and durable. They hold up well after washing and are TTS. They are nice looking and the Velcro makes them easy to slip on and off.

My 7 year old loves these. I bought a pair before school started in august (from NB website). size 1 wide, we have trouble finding shoes where the Velcro actually straps back over to the other side. As November approached I notice him always having his feet outside his shoes. I noticed this for a few weeks and as it turns out they just slide right off his feet now. Like they are too big. (scratching head). So hmmmm. I ordered him a new pair off amazon. So i bought just a regular size 1 not wide, thinking maybe his feet are skinny now. Those came and of course they don't fit... So I returned and ordered a size 1 wide. They arrived and fit like a glove. So heads up, they stretch I guess. We will see if these do they same after 3 months. Hoping not. If so we will just buy the ones with laces and boys gonna have to learn to tie laces. But I would probably still buy them again lol I have washed them 2x in the washer and they look nearly brand new. The suede does darken a little but they are still clean looking sneakers. I don't see many kids wearing surprisingly.

I would give these 5 stars but the picture shows a Velcro strap and the ones we got didn't have the Velcro,they are lace ups! We purchased size 4 x-wide. They are great shoes if your child has wide feet
