Great Technology
Great performance and heat management and price. I was able to backhaul my 'new' 2.5 gb desktop to NAS for reasonable price after this purchase. SFP+ fiber was fun install and just like 640k , will be the last cable I need to run between my desk and NAS in other room, ever.

TRENDnet 6-Port unmanaged 2.5G Switch
Installed February 1st 2026. This switch was effortless to install and as fast as advertised. Nothing to configure, easy to get up and running. Not pricey at all. I hadn't worked with TRENDnet gear before, so was very pleased with the outcome.

Works as it says, very good, decent price, worth it. If you don't need or have fiber, get the less expensive version without it.

Plug and Play
Ended up not using the high-speed port, but the component is compact, reliable, and perfectly plug and play.

stay away
tried two of these.. both would not communicate with either my tp-link omada or my OLYCOM fiber switches, tried multiple SFP modules.. never worked! i can use my omada to omada, my omoda to olycom, but my trendnet does not work either either!

Platzsparend und stabil
Habe den Switch in Hauptverteiler meiner Wohnung. Die 5 RJ45 Ports reichen aus und der SFP Port kann zur Not auch mit einem 1000BaseT Modul bestückt werden.

Débit à plus de 2 GB/s en toute fiabilité
Le débit à plus de 2 Gb/s est bien là : un très bon point pour les transferts de fichiers entre machines.

Mycket bra Switch!
Min flickvän jobbar i energisektorn i Ukraina. Hon är inte en toppchef men tillräckligt viktigt som nyckelperson för att det skulle kunna var känsligt om hon har otur eller en särskild situation skulle göra henne mer utsatt som måltavla. TP-Link som många gånger är billigast och mest valuta för pengarna är kinesiskt. I Kina ägs alla företag av staten, i princip. Om Kina något att säga till om så är det som gäller. Man har kommit på TP-link vid flera tillfällen skicka användardata genom t.ex. DNS. Man har kommit på dem att de har sålt data utan att ange det i deras avtal. TP-link verkar vara som Huawei. Och eftersom att hon bor i Ukraina, kan det säljas till Ryssarna om man har tillräckligt otur. Därför var det väldigt viktigt för mig att inte välja ett sådant företag, även om jag inte kommer att skicka den dit. Men samtidigt har jag enorma materiella behov, och inte så hög inkomst just nu. 2,5Gbit LAN har min router stöd för och nu har jag det till ett fantastiskt pris. Byggkvaliten på chassit är också jättebra, bättre än Netgear tidigare. Med Supra kat8 kablar har ett LAN som är både otroligt långsiktigt och kanske till och med lite overkill. Även om jag är en poweruser med hemmaservrar, avancerat smart hem osv. (klart större krav än gemeneman). Rekommenderas!
