Just buy it!
Replaced a bose smart soundbar 300 with this smart ultra. The sound out the 300 was great, especially when paired with bose bass module 500 so was sceptical on how it could be better. Been looking at up grading for a while now so when price dropped below £600 and a monthly payment plan i took the plunge and didnt regret it.The set up is simple( even for a techno phobe like me) and app is straight forward. Now for the important bit. The sound. All i can say is WOW! It imurses you in it, feels like sound coming from all around. Its crystal clear with a bone shacking bass, a sound you can feel not just hear. The 2 small up facing speakers make a hugh differance as sound seems to come from above. There is no distortion, even when volume is crancked right up. Even my wife who thinks im bonkers with no aprecation for quality audio said how amazing it is.The design is sleek and stylish, especally the glass top, alot wider than previouse 300 soundbar but fits perfect under my 55" oled tv.So anybody out there unsure weather to upgrade to this unit just do it. I promise you wont be dissapointed.Hoping santa is going to bring me the Bose rear surround speakers to finish this outstanding set up off.The set up is top end so not cheap but having done hi fi set ups back in the day not much difference and worth every penny.

Great sound but some bugs to be fixed still
Upgraded from a Bose 700 soundbar to this. At first run I though I'm going to send this back but in a short time I realized how much better this device is compared to the 700 series which I already loved very much. While the 700 was clear and nice, this really-really fills the room and does enhance the sounds by a lot while the older versions "just" gave you great sounds. They are not on the same level. Need to hear the difference. So why I'm giving 4 stars only? There's a bug which turns the TV back on when Atmos is used. In short, you're done for the day, use the TV remote to power off the TV should trigger CEC to turn this off as well. Sometimes after a minute or so, this device turns the TV back on stating an Atmos device has been connected. This should have been fixed with the latest 6.10 firmware but still produces the problem.

I am very happy with this music system.
amazing sound

Limited surround effect.
I went from wired surround speakers to this after redecorating. Sound is always clear but the surround element is very limited compared to dedicated individual speakers placed around the room. It seems the technology isn't there yet. Much tidier without all the wires I guess.

£449?
£449? Insane price for what you get. I paid £600 for it, I can’t think of anything better than this. Definitely a not brainier.

Your tv will need to have an optical feature to get the best audio
Easily plugged in and started, sound is pure bose quality.

An expensive unreliable show pony
Great sound. When working. And the only reason I’ve given the product 2 stars. But an utterly dreadful product interface. If I could go back in time I’d buy another Samsung soundbar at a quarter of the price. Much more reliable. It keeps disconnecting for no reason. And no, it’s nothing to do with my wifi, which is full fibre high speed, and doesn’t disconnect from anything else in the house. The only way of reconnecting is switching off all power to the soundbar… the Bose app freezes, preventing any other action than killing all power. When I moved house I misplaced the ridiculously small remote control that came with this unit. Which seems to access most soundbar functionality as there’s only one manually operated button on the soundbar to press, whose sole function is to make a dull bonging sound when interacted with.My fault that I misplaced the remote… but can I get a spare? Not a chance. Over 18 months since purchase and registering a need for one with Bose, after being told it was out of stock, it’s still out of stock. Something they charged under £20 for. Perhaps if they’d designed a remote control bigger than a thumbnail, it wouldn’t have been lost in a house move.In conclusion, the sound from this device is superb. But I seemingly have to jump through so many user unfriendly hoops to get that sound. An expensive unreliable show pony.

Crystal clear sound
Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar: A Mixed BagThe Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar promises immersive Dolby Atmos sound and voice control for a premium home theater experience. While it delivers on the audio front, the voice control functionality, particularly Alexa, has been a major letdown for users in certain regions.Sound Performance:* Immersive Audio: The soundbar excels in delivering a wide soundstage and height channels, creating a truly enveloping listening experience.* Clear Dialogue: The A.I. Dialogue Mode effectively enhances vocal clarity, ensuring you never miss a word.* Powerful Bass: Although the soundbar lacks a dedicated subwoofer, it still manages to deliver solid bass performance.Voice Control Issues:* Alexa Inaccessibility: The primary concern for many users is the lack of available voice assistants in specific regions. This significantly limits the soundbar's smart features.Overall:The Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar is a fantastic choice for those seeking high-quality audio performance. However, the current limitations with voice control, particularly Alexa, significantly impact the overall user experience. If voice control is a priority for you, it's advisable to explore other options or wait for potential firmware updates to address the issue.Note: It's recommended to check the latest updates and regional availability of voice assistants before purchasing.

Top Quality Sound Bar
I recently purchased the Bose Smart Ultra Sound Bar, and overall, I’m very impressed. Setting it up wasn’t the most intuitive process, and there were a few technical hiccups, but once I worked through them, it was up and running fairly quickly. The sound quality exceeded my expectations. It has an amazing ability to project sound in a way that occasionally feels like there are surround speakers, adding to the immersive experience. However, I’ve noticed an issue with the device frequently disconnecting from the Bose app. I’m not sure if this is a user error or a flaw with the app, but it’s a bit annoying. Still, it’s something I can work around given how much I enjoy the sound quality.I’m now considering purchasing more Bose products to complement this sound bar. Overall, it’s a great addition to my home audio setup!

Bose! Never goes wrong
From headphones to Bluetooth speakers and now soundbar. Bose never fails to amaze me, their sound tech exceeds any competition. The clarity is what makes the difference, don't even get me started on thr surround and the sound quality. Just this one soundbar is enough for most of the houses, can't imagine how it would be with the satellite speakers and subs. Only downside is that after listening on bose I can't listen to any other speaker, the sound always seems incomplete on others.

Bluetooth and mobile application do not work
The Bluetooth connectivity of this soundbar is so bad that you just pray all the time that the soundbar connects to the TV. The mobile application has only one way to reconnect - restart. Sound is good but of what use it it does not connect and the mobile application does not work.
