Build quality is excellent, really impressed. The gadget is simple but very effective. It charges my Casio watches very effectively with virtually no light bleeding out from the sides. It is very small but has a nice weight to it because of the solid metal construction. Would highly recommend if you have any solar watches. Delivery to UK from Amazon US was really impressive. Arrived within a week.

I bought this solar watch charger to charge a G-Shock which arrived with two out of five bars charged. Placed it on the charger and within a couple of hours it had fully charged the watch. I was really impressed. I normally keep my solar watches on the shady side of a window sill to keep them topped up when not in use, but, with the new one, I was concerned it wouldn’t get enough charging during the winter. I did try to charge my Garmin 2 Solar but that was less successful. I let it on for an hour and it went from 82 to 84%. Someone else commented that their Garmin didn’t charge either. I think the batteries on smart watches are probably larger and need sun or, preferably, mains charging. So, for all other solar watches this is a neat idea. It’s small, runs off a usb 3 and seems well made. It barely gets warm in use, which is good for the watch. I like the inclusion of two silicone rings and the on / off button. Well worth it as an emergency charger for the long winter days!

Ok if you have GShock solar watches or other brands which need solar power, this is perfect in the UK. It’s grim up North and the sunshine rarely is enough to keep my Gs fully charged. It’s not bulky, easy to use and even has a rubber ring to ensure face isn’t damaged. LED means it won’t get red hot, 🥵 It won’t fade colours of your strap like real sunshine. All my Gs now have high charge.

This is a solid device that produces a very bright light. I have used it to charge a small Citizen Eco Drive watch and it has worked perfectly. Unsure of its longevity as only had it a couple of weeks.

Having purchased my first Casio Solar Watch I hadn't thought of the practicality of the Scottish weather and my inability to get out and about due to illness to be able to charge the watch with sunlight. This did the trick nicely, albeit it took a good 8 hours due to the watch having sat in a warehouse for an undetermined amount of time. When I received the watch it was already down a bar and wearing it for less than a fortnight it had dropped down to 1 out of 3 bars, hence it taking 8 hours to fully charge. Definitely utilise the rubber ring as I've read that exposing the watch repeatedly without the rubber ring can actually damage the watch. Very happy with my purchase will update if that should change.

When first connected the charger would not switch on. After changing to a new cable it was fine, The cable was faulty on the charger usb 3.0 end. For the price I was disappointed. But happy that I could work around the problem. |

Excellent must have product for anyone who owns a solar powered watch or two. This really does rapid charge your watch to full capacity within a couple of hours. So simple to set up , child’s play. Looks really good to, nice compact design, won’t look out of place where ever it is set up. Can also be utilised as a nice little over/spot light, as I’ve done to illuminate my watch winder.

Very bright place your watch on top of it and forget about it for a few hours. Charged very fast. Its tiny so slides into side drawer taking up no space at all. Comes with two rubber toppers for different size watches. Worth the cash on dreary days with no sun. Does not get hit at all just very very bright until watch covers it up.

Works as advertised. While mostly cool, the watch does warm up from the trapped heat between the watch and the light. Older watches or those with smaller solar panels may take longer to fully charge up.
