I have numerous guitars but this is the most fun and easy to play tbh.A really nice playing guitar 10/10

Overall, the Lava Me guitar is a fantastic option if you're looking for a smart, user-friendly guitar and are willing to invest a bit more upfront.

Took this guitar for a try last year and wasn’t impressed. Lava contacted me to give it another shot and i’m happy to tell the guitar has improved. The color now looks woody instead of pink. Also, the guitar had a few firmware-updates. Experienced no freezing anymore. The only thing I would like to see is a lower string height when the guitar ships. Also, the Lava+ app needs some more ‘lessons’ for beginners. The app is like a rough diamond. It has potential to grow to something big! Thanks Lava.

I am satisfied. Have not yet tested all the digital abilities, but the acoustoc sound and the basic effects are very satisfieble for me. The griff is comfortable.

Mi dispiace ma é stata una pessima esperienza... non arriva affatto il giorno dopo come descritto e contattato l'help desk non sapevano darmi informazioni in merito, né dirmi se potevo annullare l'ordine!. Per fortuna é arrivata integra come confezione, la chitarra é ottima, tutto il resto questa volta é stato pietoso!

Durch diverse Online Artikel und Videos auf diese Art der "modernen" Gitarre aufmerksam gemacht, dachte ich mir: Gib dem Konzept eine Chance. Ich komme akustisch aus der Ovation-Ecke und dachte mir daher: cool, eine Gitarre mit Effekten?! Das sollte doch spannend für die eine oder andere Session sein. Vorweg: ja, die Gitarre kann die Effekte auch inBody darstellen. Dann sind sie allerdings selbst auf der lautesten Stufe so dezent, dass sie kaum auffallen, sobald man auch die hinteren Plätze ohne Verstärkung erreichen möchte. Mit Verstärker sind die Effekte natürlich besser, allerdings wird wahrscheinlich jeder, der eine Akustikgitarre besitzt UND diese über einen Verstärker widergeben will, bereits das nötige Equipment hierfür haben. Die Gitarre ist sehr basslastig, was positiv sein mag. Doch gerade wenn man unverstärkt auch ein paar Zupftechniken anwenden will, übersteuert der Bass komplett die höheren Töne. Das ist schade, da sich der Bassbereich sehr gut anhört. Verschluckte Töne finde ich allerdings für diesen Preis nicht hinnehmbar. Kommen wir zur Bespielbarkeit: das Griffbrett ist schmal. So schmal, dass große Hände damit eher ein Problem haben. Verglichen mit meiner Ovation, die ebenfalls kein breites Griffbrett aufweist, finde ich es hier noch schwieriger, Barré-Griffe sauber hinzubekommen. Mag alles Übung sein: aber bei dem Preis erwarte ich auch mehr, als z.B. von einer Harley Benton. Die Gitarre ist dank der verbauten Technik auch relativ schwer - über die Schulter würde ich sie eher weniger gerne tragen. Da ist meine Ovation deutlich leichter, die Martin sowieso. Worüber man nicht meckern kann: über den Verstärker hört sich die Gitarre sehr gut an, das Touchpad und die Apps reagieren flott. Es ist alles gut durchdacht und die Gitarre liegt gut auf dem Schoß. Die Verarbeitung ist sowieso absolut top: alles fest, nichts knarzt. Fazit: für mich ist dieses Konzept leider nichts. Für Einsteiger und Anfänger finde ich das Konzept stark - ob ein Anfänger allerdings fast 900 Euro für eine Gitarre ausgibt, muss sich dann jeder überlegen. Die Apps geben aber genügend Beschäftigung, um sich z.B. ernsthaft im Gitarrenspiel zu verbessern. Für Fortgeschrittene und Profis: lieber zu einer Ovation, einer Taylor oder gleich zu einer Martin greifen und ggf. über die Effektgeräte alles akustisch verstärken.
