Overall, Nuovva makes durable, quality cookware
Dutch ovens are the original slow cookers. Our 6-quart pot is the perfect size for two people and leftovers. I appreciate the color options. Unlike some reviews, ours came as shown, a nice green. Unfortunately, the lid arrived slightly warped and didn’t fit tightly, a necessary trait for a Dutch oven/casserole dish. As Amazon Prime members, we returned it free under Amazon’s return policy. While most Amazon products have free returns for Prime members, not all do, so read the product shipping and return policies carefully before buying any product. Our replacement pot arrived in perfect condition. Concerning chips. I’m amazed any fragile product (enameled cookware is one), produced overseas and shipped here arrives to the buyer undamaged. Packaging is usually excellent. You can blame the freight forwarders; FEDEX, UPS and yes, Amazon for your damaged shipment, not the manufacturer. Enamel/porcelain is hard, but brittle. So why enameled cookware versus bare cast iron? Maintenance and seasoning. Enameled cookware requires less cleaning and NO periodic seasoning. And it is more elegant than bare cast iron. My wife has prepared many tasty dishes in this pot. Many months and meals later it’s still looking new. Not mentioned, is its self-basting lid, a feature of all true Dutch ovens. As steam collects under the lid, instead of just running off to the sides, each point collects the steam , then it drops evenly over the food inside. One reviewer commented about the weight of the pot. The 6-quart pot and lid weighs 14 lbs. When filled with food, it may weigh up to 25 lbs.! The pot’s description states “Cast Iron”. Cast iron cookware is heavy for a reason. It retains heat, and since the sides and bottom, (and top when cooking in an oven) are similar thickness, food cooks more evenly and faster. Overall this is good, quality cookware.

Love this Dutch oven!
So far, I’ve only used this Dutch oven to make sausage, peppers and onions, but I’m really happy with how it turned out. It’s a great size and feels very sturdy and well made. It holds the heat really well, and everything cooked evenly. I also really like the enamel coating, which makes cleanup much easier. The lid fits nicely and the pot looks really nice too. It is definitely heavier than a regular pot, but that’s expected with cast iron. I’m looking forward to trying more recipes in it because so far, I’m very happy with my purchase!

Love this!
Great size, easy to clean. I needed an enameled iron pot for a while and this was the perfect choice! Very pretty and the color images are what you get. It's iron so very sturdy, but also very heavy because same reason. All handles get hot, but also expected. Cleaning is an easy soak in the sink with soap and water and a little scrubbing may be needed. I just put it back on the oven and turn the burger on to dry.

A perfect gift for a relative with a beach-front home
The color of this Dutch oven was perfect for the person I gifted it to as a housewarming present. They are living near the ocean and their home is decorated in blue-green colors. Not to mention, the heavy-duty weight and usefulness of this pot--for a variety of meals--soups, stews, sauces, and even oven roasting or baking. It was much appreciated by the recipient. And the price was within my budget to get just what they wanted.

Great
Been using for a few months and it’s great for cooking, even heat among the cookware and easy enough to clean it. Love that it’s oven safe too

Beauty of a pot!
Heavy cast iron pot, love it! Once it is seasoned following the directions, it cleans up so easy! And bonus, it is beautiful sitting on my stove top!

I got the wrong color, but it will do
Good size for all the bread recipes out there. It is also a good 2-person size as well for anything you would cook in a larger version of this pot. I still have 6 kids at home so I cook large, but I will use this for bread until one of my kids sneaks off with it, LOL! All my good cookware is in one of their homes which is fine with me. It's not the color I ordered, but it will be fine. I ordered the "blue" which is a brighter, beachy blue and I got a darker teal colored one. It's still pretty, but I wanted the brighter one. Since it arrived with no chips or anything I will probably just keep it. Again, it won't last long enough in my kitchen for it to matter. The edges are a bit rough where they are not enameled, but with the amount of use it will get in my kitchen that roughness with smooth out with use. No chips in the enamel, no scratches or chips in the outside enamel. It is easy to lift and move around. Can't really beat it for the price, I got the 3 qt for under $20.

Best pot I've ever had
My favorite cooking vessel, hands down. Has held up beautifully for stove and oven cooking. The gorgeous blue is an extra perk that brightens up cooking!

Ottimo acquisto
Questa pentola mi è piaciuta tantissimo. Stufati e ragù spettacolari! Il colore sfumato dello smalto è vivido e brillante. L'interno smaltato è da trattare con cura. Ottimo acquisto.

Temperature LOWER than expected! 😠
One thing positive to say about the Dutch Oven is the rich colour. It's stunning, and the pot is heavy. Is it worth it?? No. A few side complaints about this product is the lid is not a snuggle fit, there is a wobble to it. Then I read the instruction booklet and that's when my smile disappeared. In Australia's cooking terms, it seems we cannot go past 200 Celsius. On your page it states 500 Fahrenheit (260 Celsius) well that's a lie to consumers to buy it! It brought it to bake sourdough bread and 200 Celsius is too low of a temp. It also states you can not heat it without nothing in it! Again, to all artisanal bread makers 'STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND. IT'S A WASTE OF MONEY' and the shipping price is crazy. You're better off buying yourself a ceramic baking dish.
