I'd say it's a good value for money. It's a lot cheaper than one of those full-on courses, and it gives him plenty of material to work with. The book is definitely an important tool for the test, especially with all the practice problems and explanations. It gives him a solid game plan and lets him get used to the format.

My serious scholar, high school junior, is faithfully prepping with this book. It actually helps to identify weaknesses where further study is needed. So much pressure on kids to do well these days but we just want her to feel good about trying her best. Would buy it again.

I like the book, it explains with details the SAT exam and have different examples to explain much better the concepts. I only think that some excercise are too easy or very hard. But in general a good book for the people that wants 1500+ points on the SAT.
