This worked for me , I had toothache. I'd used actual cloves before - awkward. After having no joy at the herbalist and going to have to wait a long time to see a dentist , I thought I'll see if I can get clove oil from Amazon. I wasn't let down , thankfully. The effect of the clove oil is quick , within 15 minutes and it can be reapplied every 2 - 3 hours. It needs a carrier oil e.g. coconut , olive oil or jojoba , then a cotton bud or ball to apply it to the affected area . Not pleasant to taste but it does the trick.

This product comes in a box with dropper , there are no instructions on bottle ,box, or inside it . You have to look on line to find out how this can be used . It says has to be used diluted with a carrier oil such as olive oil corn oil almond oil ,etc, this carrier oil has to be edible .This product cannot be used without diluting it first as it will burn you. Plus it cannot be swallowed ,so has to be used in tiny amounts and kept away from children, it is not to be used on teeth but on gums ,I didn't find out why, so I can't pass that on sorry . I haven't used it yet as I've just got it ,hope this helps .

How to Use Clove Oil for Humane Fish Euthanasia Using clove oil is widely considered one of the most humane methods for home aquarists because it acts first as a sedative (anesthetic) before reaching lethal levels. What you will need: A separate small container/bucket (do not do this in the main tank). KUKKA Clove Oil. A small jar with a lid (for mixing). Water from the aquarium. The Process: The Pre-Mix: Clove oil does not mix naturally with water. Put about 3–5 drops of clove oil into a small jar of warm water and shake it vigorously until it looks milky. Sedation: Gently move your fish to the separate container with enough tank water to cover them. Slowly add the milky mixture. Within minutes, your fish will settle at the bottom and their breathing will slow. They are now "asleep" and cannot feel pain.
