Worth the money
I play 3 times a week in a gym. This is a great ball replacing an older TF-1000. We have at least 10 different balls to choose from when we play and right from the first time out this was the ball of choice. It has a great feel and easy to grab. I read one review that said the lettering of the label was a little slick and effected their shot. I did find the lettering slicker than the rest of the ball but it did not create a problem with dribbling or shooting. Again a great choice for a regular player. .....and of course Amazon Prime is hard to beat.

A great ball for ladies. It's the official high school ball in my state.
This is my daughter's first "real" ball. The Minnesota State High School league plays with the TF-1000 Legacy right now, so I figured I'd get my 10 year old this ball to "be official".I have the original TF-1000 in men's size. The Legacy is just as good. Once you get the gloss off of it, it's plenty sticky. It's the ball her 5th grade team always chooses to practice with of all the other leather balls they have. There are nice, deep channels for girls with smaller fingers to be able to fling and spin it with. It's a very nice indoor ball and I'd get it again.

Great Touch, Even Bounce, Tough Ball
The Spalding TF-1000 Legacy is a well-constructed basketball. It's got a great touch (not slippery, but not too "sticky" either), even bounce, and is tough. We've been using ours at primarily outdoor concrete courts and it's holding up nicely after a summer of play.If you're looking for a good basketball that doesn't feel like a "toy" ball and isn't going to break the bank, The Spalding TF-1000 Legacy would be a good choice.

Its better than I expected considering that my expectation was low ...
Its better than I expected considering that my expectation was low due to negative reviews of the ball. I like the feel of the ball so far; however, I note that although the description says indoor/outdoor, I would recommend using the ball for only indoor purpose. I usually play indoors; however, after using the ball for practice at a court in a public park, I started noticing that few areas of the ball are starting to peel off.Overall, this ball is good for indoor purposes.

good grip, easy for kids to keep the ball ...
this is our second time purchasing this ball. we have two to use for our JV basketball team. good grip, easy for kids to keep the ball under control. It has good feel, and is not overly rough, so the kids have to maintain proper hand position on the ball while they are dribbling. worth the money.

Doesn't Touch Original TF-1000
I am a former owner of the Original TF-1000. Unfortunately though that ball stolen and so like others I bought this ball based on the good name of the original Top Flite 1000. I should have known better though given Spalding's horrible naming scheme. You see, there are been quite a few variants of the TF 1000 over the years some better than others. The best of these variants is the version that says "ZK Microfiber Composite" on the ball.Similarities between this ball and the Original TF 1000 end at the name. This is a totally different ball with its own look and feel. To describe it, I would say that this ball is spongier, slicker, and overall the material on the ball feels "fake". I should also mention that in my experience the ball has not been the best at holding air so make sure to keep a pump handy. I still think this is a solid basketball, but at the same time I must say that there are better alternatives at this price point.I would highly recommend the Wilson Evolution or the TF 1000 I mentioned earlier (if you can get your hands on it as I believe it was discontinued). They are different balls and both are excellent, it is just a matter of preference. If you play at a gym, probably already know how both feel but if not, the TF 1000 is the harder feeling ball of the two while the Evolution feels spongier. That really doesn't do justice though and I would recommend trying both out if you can before you make a decision.

I love the TF line of basketballs
I love the TF line of basketballs, I buy one every year for the couple nights I play each week during the winter. Always a great ball, everyone loves it! I'm thinking of stepping up to the game ball next year, but I'm sure I'll be back with the TF after the sticker shock wears off.

Worst composite ball available
Worst composite basketball on the market. Only bought it because our state high school tournament uses it because Spaulding paid a sponsorship fee to hold us ransom. I have coached basketball for over 20 years and only would by this ball if required by league you are in. Not even close to Wilson evolution or Base Lexum Elite. There is a reason NBA players union who played with a composite ball all through youth and college stopped the leagues plan to go composite. It is because Spaulding is there official ball they make a good leather ball but an absolute garbage composite. I also teach pe. This ball is very similar to the playground ball I by for the school for $14

Spalding makes the best basketballs and this is one of the best
Spalding makes the best basketballs and this is one of the best. When price is part of the equation, it gets 5 stars.Remember, it's an indoor ball!

Great ball
This is a great basketball. I both both spalding tf-1000 and Wilson B0700 at the same time to compare. From my experiences, i like the Wilson better, Wilson has better leather feeling and grip.
