It’s a nice product. I suggest pulling the edges (similar to pulling bread dough apart) to let it expand fully. I used 3M double sided tape with good success. Only drawback is the tips of the lines have started to noticeably faded after two weeks. 3 stars due to fading. I would have given it 5 stars if no fading.

Honestly, I have no idea how the noise absorption is yet. The adhesive film squares I got to affix the tiles to the walls aren't working with this foam. I'm giving it 2 stars based on the fact that it's not even close to being 1-inch thick, as advertised. One of my uploaded pics is how thin the block of 12 panels was when they arrived. I was hopeful that after unpacking them and letting them expand, they'd be as thick as advertised. No. They're barely over a half an inch at their thickest points (5/8 in). They're 3/16 of an inch at the thinnest points. And it's not a very dense foam, so 3/16 inch is barely anything. I had debated getting 2-inch thick panels or 1-inch thick panels for my home recording studio. I went with these based on the very small size of my recording space. Sorry now that I didn't get the 2-inch ones. I do not recommend this product based on the false advertising alone. Once I get these up and can test them out, I'll update the review if sound absorption is over a 2.

These are nice but thin & small, I purchased 3M Tape tabs to stick these sound proofing tiles on the wall everyone was on the floor within 10 minutes, so I used a clear glue to get them to stick to the tape tabs. That was a failure of the tape tabs not the foam tiles. These are a good value & you get 12. They Look nice as well

They work. They expand as they get in more air. Thought they LOOKED bigger in pics but that sounds dumb so...
