1/4" Beam Torque
It worked great and when adjusting pinion preload and end cap preload on differential.

Cool LITTLE torque wrench.
Cool LITTLE 1/4” torque wrench.

Great for measuring bearing rotational resistance when setting preload.
This tool is excellent for measuring low torque levels. I used it for measuring pinion bearing preload when building up an automotive differential. It's only 1/4" drive but I was able to use adapters to step up from 1/4 to 3/8 to 1/2 inch drive to engage the socket I used to tighten the pinion nut. NOTE: This tool is NOT heavy duty enough to measure pinion nut tightening torque! For measuring rotational resistance on the level of inch/lbs (My target was 20 in/lb) this is ideal!

Good quality
Nice little wrench. I'll be using it to measure preload on the pinion in my jeep when I regear the axles.

Easy to use to both tighten and loosen.
It's a pretty basic torque bar wrench and easy to use. Critical measurements for tightening screws into aluminum alloy without stripping the threads are essential and this works great for that purpose which is what I purchased it for. No complaints. The dial does deflect a little bit away from the scale but it's easy to just bend the torque bar so that the red tip gets really close to the scale to get an accurate reading. No complaints I like it!

Terribly inaccurate
Terribly inaccurate. No way I would use this to set pinion bearing preload. It didn't feel right so I checked it using a weight method then against my other torque wrenches. It was off quite a bit so I followed up by ordering a 20-200 inch pound click type wrench that came with a calibration certification card and checked it against that. Around 10 inch pounds it required a 20 inch pound pull, at 45 inch pounds it required a 80 inch pound pull, at 68 inch pounds it required a 120 inch pound pull. So all the scale readings are approximately HALF of the actual pull force applied. If you want to burn up a pinion bearing use this torque wrench to set the preload on it. Otherwise move on to something that is certified accurate.

I choose a beam torque wrench over a click stop as the beam will be reliable over it's lifetime whereas the other is not.

Merci comme la description.

This rotational torque wrench Works Well. I would recommend this. I use this on a rear differential pinion nut to get the rotational drag and it worked.

Does the trick but it is cheap. Gauge broke simply from setting down as it had 2 really small tacks holding it in place
