Skar Audio 1/0 Gauge OFC Big 3 Complete Upgrade Electrical Wiring Kit, SKBIG3-0GA

If you're considering the "Big 3" automotive electrical wiring upgrade, this is an amazing kit! All 3 0ga wires are OFC, pre-crimped on one end and all installation parts are included. Grab some heat tubing if you're application demands these new wires to be near a heat source, like the exhaust!

Got this and put it on a 07 Pontiac Grand Prix, just recently finished putting it on. I needed to replace my battery terminals, so I went ahead and bought this. My main reasoning behind getting this is to hopefully try to help out my alternator(which has 181k miles on it). Ran it from the alternator to the battery, and then replaced the power cable running from the battery to the fuse box(with some of the wire from this kit). Ran the cable from the ground terminal to the chassis, and then from the same grounding point as the ignition system(which should be good enough) to the chassis. The only problem I ran into was the hole for the final cable(going from the block to chassis) was just barely too small, I had to end up drilling it out bigger to get it to fit. Cables seem to be atleast decent, not as good as what the factory cables are(the factory ones was far more stiff unlike this), it did make it easier to run and is easily better overall. This kit does seem to have a good value to it, getting the equivalent amount of 0 guage wire would cost around the same, but not give the wire connectors for it or any cable managing items like what this kit gives. I can't say for how effective this might be, but I do remember my interior lighting dimming down when listening to music, and I dont recall the same thing happening any more, I will need to double check on this and edit this review after.

I decided to add the "Big 3" wiring kit for my car because why not. Might as well make the most of my alternator. This kit seems to be one of the only kits on Amazon that is truly OFC wiring, so that is interesting. It does come at a fairly high price, but if you think about it, you can reuse it for later cars and it will last a long time. The quality of these wires are superb and do not look like they will have any problems for decades. The only thing I'd say I didn't like about this was the setup process. I had to buy a 0/1 AWG crimping tool and also a larger wire cutter, but I guess that was good in the end if I ever need to use it in the future. Overall, this was a solid buy for what you get and it is definitely some high quality stuff.

Have had this installed for a few months now and no issues and good quality. Not as much copper as some of the others that use oversized 1/0 but again, no issues and for the price it is a great value.

Maybe worse than others. Some like it and some don't, I installed before realizing the nicknames the brand has. "SKARBAGE" now I haven't had any other big 3 in this car but I do know I went from 13.8v max I'd ever see to it usually staying at 14.2, even with 1200 watts pulling from it on a 70amp alt. So yeah there's probably better options but I have had no problems. Been about 6 months under the hood

Excelente producto, si es OFC y me sorprendió los resultados en cuanto lo instale mejoro el voltaje de mi camioneta, para mí suerte, los cables venían más grandes, así que solo corte los excesos y puse las terminales con su termo retractil, lo monte en una Chevrolet C10 1988.

This big 3 kit is true to its 1/0 AWG and OFC, very pleased with this product and would recommend to someone who’s getting into the car audio industry. Cables and connections are Good quality and comes with everything you need
