A must for ironing
Really handy gadget. Stops the lead from dragging across whatever I’m ironing. Sturdy too

Takes a few minutes to set up.
Very sturdy, easily fitted to the ironing board. Does the job well but would benefit from some instructions. It isn't obvious, just looking at it, how the cord is meant to thread through. I've had simpler ones in the past.

Iron cable tidy
Very well made and useful tool to assist with the daily ironing.

Not practical for steam generators.
Came with no instructions. Not suitable for steam generator type irons. The iron has to be returned to the base unit after ironing each garment and because the flex is heavy and stiff, carrying the steam tube as well as the electrical flex, it is prone to be awkward maneuvering the iron around the unit. Do not buy if you have a steam generator.

Iron's cord holder
Found this to replace one I somehow lost (still no idea how!). Previous cord-holder was a simple lift-up device that clamped to the ironing board near the iron stand, and kept cord away from clothing being ironed. However, this is over-complicated, with extra side loops that do nothing except be in the way of the kitchen door behind which I stand the board, so that I can't open the door completely...

This is the most helpful item in my sewing room. I attached to the back of my ironing table and it keeps the cord out of the way of even the longest fabric. Love it.

Nach viel Ärger mit Kabelhaltern in Antennenform mit Clips, aus denen das Kabel immer wieder herausspringt, endlich eine solide technische Lösung! Das Produkt ist durchdacht, sehr robust, absolut flexibel und praxistauglich und daher seinen Preis wert. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Es wird mit einer mit leicht mit der Hand zu betätigenden Zwinge an das Bügelbrett gesetzt. 20 Sekunden dauert das . Wenn das Bügelbrett nach Gebrauch aufrecht aufbewahrt wird, muss man den Kabelhalter abschrauben und kann ihn über das Bügelbrett hängen. Kein Problem!

I love this cord minder. It is heavy duty, bendable, and does the job. I like that you can move it around and the cord doesn't slip off. Makes ironing so much easier
