GIGABYTE Z97X-UD3H Intel LGA1150 Z97 ATX Motherboard (4x DDR3, 6x USB3.0, 8x USB2.0, GBE, LAN, HDMI, DVI-I, DSUB)

Great motherboard for the money. Very easy to set up; bios settings are easy to use. Updated bios version quicky and without any fuss. Ideal board for windows, possbily for those looking to use this for a hackintosh I'd suggest holding back until apple support this board on their own systems; maybe go for an older z87 board if that is your intention.

I was having issues with my Asus P7P55 motherboard so decided to replace it. I chose this board as it has a fair degree of future-proofing for me including SATA Express and an M.2 socket. Well you can't just swap a motherboard alone so I bought it some presents such as an Intel i5 4690 processor and 16GB of Crucial memory. The whole kit is very fast with malware scans taking less than half the time they used to. Windows built in performance rating has gone from 6.2 to 7.7. The board package includes hardware monitoring software and also Smart Recovery 2 which I installed. Smart Recovery 2 takes an initial backup of the drive you specify (C: drive in my case) then does an hourly incremental backup. In my case the SATA sockets were a bit difficult to get at once the board was installed and I would have been better loading cables onto the board before installing it in the box but I managed. An excellent board and well recommended.

I can confidently say it's about as good as it gets for this price range. Wide assortment of features, easy to use and utilitarian UEFI BIOS and good looks to boot. Multiple SATA connectors, SLI and Crossfire support (though the second slot is x8 so I guess it depends on what card you will be using), USB 3.0 and generally good placement for connectors (SATA, fan headers etc) something my previous Gigabyte motherboard lacked. If you're building on a budget there's really no reason to go any higher than this.

With the exception of need ing a microscope to see the markings on the LED and switching panels it is a strong and easy to fit mother board. BIOS is straight forward enough. It has a DVI-D video output on the motherboard and not a VGA so bear that in mind if you are using an older monitor. I don`t know, being a amateur , if this is standard but the mistake I made was to fit a Asus graphics card before installing the OS. On first boot up this completely stalled the BIOS and meant I had no output to the monitor at all. Probably this is standard but I just thought I`d mention it to help out anyone else who made the same mistake.. I removed the graphics card and rebooted the BIOS and that solved it. Then reintalled the card after the OS.

I use this board in my Hackintosh/Gaming PC and it works flawlessly. It was harder than I thought it would be to get working but I won't blame that on the board. The BIOS is easy to configure and is pretty intuitive. Has plenty of expandability and good port selection. Connectors are well placed for cable management and the (paper!) manual is very complete and explains everything well. If you aren't building a Hackintosh I'd definitely still recommend this board as the included Windows software works very well and the BIOS updated I needed to carry out was made extremely simple using this.

BIOS is easy to understand, it looks great and it feels like a premium product. One minor note is that the heat-sinks around the VRM area feel a little loose, but not something I'd worry about.

I have used the UD3 motherboard in a number of variations for years now and they have never once let me down. Very compatible and very reliable.

Excellent rapport qualité prix (119€ à l'achat), je ne regrette pas d'avoir acheté cette CM plutôt qu'une Asus plus chère. Du Z97 d'une excellente marque à ce prix, il n'y a rien à redire. Niveau connectique, 8 ports USB (4x3.0 + 4x2.0) et 6 ports sata 3.0 permettent vraiment de brancher tout ce qu'on veut. Pas testé le Crossfire, mais je sais déjà que si le besoin apparaît un jour, la CM peut le faire. Le Bios est sympa à naviguer, hautement configurable. Un très bon achat qui permet de donner le meilleur d'une configuration poussée sans se ruiner.

Ho acquistato questa scheda madre per rinnovare completamente il mio computer da gaming, che ormai sentiva il peso degli anni. L'ho abbinata ad un i5 4690K, 16GB di ram DDR3 1866 MHz G.Skill, una AMD R9 Fury, hard disk meccanici ed ssd, il tutto alimentato da un Corsair HX750i. La scelta di una scheda madre con chipset Z97 abbinata ad un processore "K" è stata praticamente forzata, visto che per poter overclockare la cpu sono necessari questi due requisiti. Oltre a questo, ho scelto questa scheda per la notevole quantità di funzioni fornite ad un ottimo prezzo (126€ al tempo dell'acquisto); 6 porte Sata, 8 porte Usb sul retro e numerosi connettori aggiuntivi interni, slot M.2 (seppur limitato a 10 Gbps, la velocità del PCI-Express 2.0 x2), numerosi slot PCI-Express con supporto a SLI e Crossfire. L'interfaccia del bios (o meglio, le interfacce, visto che si può scegliere tra 3 diversi tipi di schermata) è chiara e dà l'accesso a numerosissime funzioni, comprese tutte quelle relative all'overclock e overvolt di scheda madre, cpu e ram. Al momento utilizzo il mio computer giornalmente per giocare e funziona benissimo con i componenti sovraindicati (il processore è overclockato a 4.2 GHz).

Ich habe auf Amazon das Gigabyte Z97X Board, den 8 GB Kingston HyperX Savage RAM und den bequiet Rock 2 Lüfter zusammen gekauft, dazu die Samsung 840 EVO Basic und den i5 4690k als CPU.. Alles kam pünktlich wie erwartet . Deshalb soll diese Rezension für alle Teile gelten. Wenn man sauber arbeitet, den Lüfter sorgfältig verschraubt, sollte ein System in 2 Stunden laufen. Das tat es auch.Beim Start muß man ggf damit rechnen, das bei einer extern verwendeten Grafikkarte 2-3 Starts notwendig sind, bis der Bildschirm das Bios anzeigt. Da ich bereits mehr wie 20 PC gebaut hat, ist das eigentlich normal.Wer wissen will, warum, kann mich in der Kommentar Funktion dazu gerne fragen. Das Bios vom Board , gen UEFI ist allererste Sahne, die Fummelei in englisch wie früher ist deutlich vereinfacht worden. Die CPU wird sofort erkannt, sowie die anderen Geräte.Alle Einstellungen sind ziemlich easy zu bewerkstelligen. Die Installation des Win 7 OS lief wie am Schnürchen. Ich habe noch meine Lüftersteuerung eingebunden und an meinem Antec 900 Gehäuse einige Lüfter angepasst.... fertig. Der Rechner läuft nun superschnell, die SSD ist wirklich schnell und der bequiet Lüfter megaleise.Beim Einbau bitte wirklich sauber schrauben, der Lüfter ist ein Riesenteil, aber superleicht.Etwas Ruhe und Zeit beim Einbau ist schon vonnöten. Alle Teile 5 Sterne , klare Kaufempfehlung Aktuell verwende ich noch meine Grafikkarte von Gigabyte die GTX 260 OC. Reicht mir auch vorerst, da ich kein exessiver Zocker bin.Ggf wird Sie in nächster Zeit ausgetauscht, aber ist aktuell nicht dringend. update 9ter März 2015: Eine GTX 750 Ti ist nun verbaut. Sehr gute Mainstream Karte für kleines Geld Ich hatte vorher ein Gigabyte P35 mit Intel Q6600 und 4GB Ram. Die Teile habe ich nun in der Familie verschenkt. Alles lief übrigens tadellos bis zum Schluß.

He montado varios PC, un par míos y otros cuantos a mis amigos, y desde hace tiempo recomiendo placas Gigabyte por la genial calidad-precio que ofrecen, y esta no es una excepción.

C'est un bon compromis entre une carte haut de gamme ruineuse et des cartes moins chères mais peu performantes. Nombreux ports disponibles (8 USB) , connectique SATA largement suffisante, fixation simple. Bios bien présenté et largement configurable. A ce prix, une Gigabyte à regarder de près pour une nouvelle configuration de machine. De gros gains en souplesse et vitesse par rapport à ma précédente CM ...qui était déjà une Gygabyte
