Wasn't disappointed
It has a pleasantly potent smell and taste, a nice calming effect, and the pieces are the perfect size for tea and for anyone who likes to chew on this herb.

High quality herb
Just the flavor I was looking for. High quality and clean, doesn't taste like dirt as some herbs taken from roots do.

A Most Foul Smelling/Tasting Herb
I’m not going to punish this vendor for my not liking a product, so I gave them four stars since it seems like everything they could control was in order. That said, holy smokes, this is by far the most foul & vile root I have ever had the displeasure of trying to choke down. To be clear, I consume a lot of strong herbs and I’m used to tastes that the average Westerner doesn’t typically like. This bag of stick-like, woody roots smells and tastes like something that had fish in it and didn’t get washed out properly. That’s as close as I can get to accurately describing this multi-sensory nightmare. I thought I could plug my nose and choke it down, nope. My gag reflex kicked in, luckily I was near the sink. It also stunk up my French press to the point that soap and water didn’t help, so I sprayed it down with bleach. Anyhoodles. Try at your own risk, it’s a rather big bag. Mine is going straight into the compost, though I almost feel too bad for the worms who will be eating it.

Box product came in was heavily damaged!
The whole top left corner Torn open and could see the product inside which was in its own bag, but still, it doesn’t make me very comfortable to use this product.
