System won't power on with these cables
I bought 3 of these cables and they were all defective: the system won't power on when connecting the 8 pin male CPU power to these adapter and then an Nvidia A5000 GPU and Quadro Sync board. Tried in multiple systems with multiple GPUs.

These will burn up your GPU wired wrong.
They will burn out your gpu they are not wired correctly. If you attach your spare cpu cable to they they do not adapt properly. I meter tested ½ dozen times with 2 meters. I was going to hook them up to a nvidia 3080 gpu worth more than 800 USD. I am glad I tested them out multiple times

This will damage your computer wired wrong.
This can damage your computer. This is wired wrong. The PCIe pin 4 is wired to 12v.
